Bitte lesen Sie diese Anleitung aufmerksam durch. Mit dem Kauf eines Zweiweg-Sicherheitstores von
Lindam haben. Sie Sicherheitsbewusstsein bewiesen. Nehmen Sie sich deshalb auch ein paar Minuten
Zeit für diese Anleitung, um von der maximalen Sicherheit Ihres Kaufes zu profitieren. HINWEIS:
Erweiterungen und Ersatzteile (bei Verlust oder Beschädigung einer der Plastikkomponenten) können Sie
beiIhrem Lieferanten bestellen.

Überprüfen Sie, ob alle Teile gemäss Inhaltsliste vorhanden sind:
1. Zweiweg-Tor
2. 4 Einstellschrauben
3. 4 Verschlussringe
4. Tüte mit 2 Wandabdeckungen, 2 Schrauben sowie 2 Doppelkleber
Verwenden Sie das Tor nicht, falls eine der Komponenten fehlen
sollte oder beschädigt ist.

Überprüfen Sie die Weite der Öffnung, an der Sie das Sicherheitstor von Lindam montieren möchten.
Sie muss mindestens 750 mm und darf höchstens 820 mm weit sein. WICHTIG: Versuchen Sie nicht, das Tor
in Öffnungen zu montieren, die weiter als 820 mm sind. Verwenden Sie in diesem Fall die dafür
vorgesehenen Lindam- Erweiterungen von 70 mm. Es werden maximal 4 Erweiterungen pro Tor empfohlen.

Platzieren Sie das Tor in die vorgesehene Öffnung und belassen Sie es in geschlossener Position.
ACHTUNG: Für die Sicherheit Ihrer Kinder müssen Sie die Position des Tores an die Treppenstufen anpassen.
Möchten Sie das Tor also oben an einer Treppe platzieren, muss es auf der obersten Stufe montiert werden.
Möchten Sie es am Fusse einer Treppe platzieren, ist es auf der ersten Treppenstufe zu befestigen.
Das Tor, welches am oberen Ende der Treppe angebracht ist, sollte sich IMMER nach oben hin öffnen (nicht in
Richtung der Treppe).

USING YOUR LINDAM SAFETY GATE
You can select which direction you would like your gate to open. If you wish to change it simply loosen
the 2 srews at the front of the handle. Then pull out and rotate the front section, before sliding it back
and re-tightening the 2 screws. To insert the batteries hold the handle in the open position and loosen
the battery cover screw. Insert 2 x AA batteries, replace the cover and re-tighten the screw.
There is a gate stop at the bottom of your gate which may be set to restrict the opening of the gate to one
direction only. It also acts as a further locking device which should be used, especially on stairs.
A final overall check is recommended to establish that the gate is securely fitted. This check should be
repeated daily to ensure that your gate remains securely fixed and that all attachments and locking devices
are operating correctly.

To fit your extension system (available separately) first remove the two screw adjusters from the side of your
gate. Remove the blue bungs from the top and bottom tube, (you may need to prise the bung out using a flat
screwdriver and tap lightly with a hammer).
Insert the corresponding white plastic sections and re-insert the blue bungs. Place the two screw adjusters in
the extension and reposition your safety gate. Turn the screw adjusters until the gate is fully secure. You must
use the wall cups provided and fit as described in section 3. If a second, third or fourth extension is required,
repeat this procedure on the other side of the gate. A maximum of four extensions are permitted.
Note: wall cups must be used when using an extension.
