Assembly of the vacuum pump

• Adapt extension of the hose, if necessary
• For spigot saddle: Install pressure gauge on the plunger. Join hose with
vacuum pump, saddle plug (Fig. 2) and the plunger by using coupling
NW 7.2 (Fig. 3).
• For repair saddle: Join hose with vacuum pump and saddle plug (Fig 2).
Coupling NW 7.2 is not plugged in. The clutch is closed when not
connected.
• Check all connections of the system for correct and tight seating.
NOTICE
Avoid engine trouble, shorter mashine lives!
Position the vacuum pump, so intake and exhaust air can freely circulate. Avoid the
pump can move out of place (e.g. by vibration). Casing louvers must be clean and
free. Don't operate the pump in closed environment, f.exp. the aluminium transport
box.
• Connect power cable.
• Power up with main switch.
CAUTION
Beware of hot casing surface! Danger of burning!
The case and the pressure port can be very hot during usage. Please observe that
these may be hot even after turning off the device.
• Pick up the saddle and press it against the pipe until the vacuum clamps
the saddle into place and the manometer shows a constant vacuum of at
least -0.8 bar.
