2.1
Safety notes
To avoid injury or damage, make sure that:
• The safety regulations for the operation of electrical equipment comply with
the usage on site. The vacuum pump must be operated at prescribed safety
sockets.
• Prior to operation the proper condition of the equipment is given. In
particular connecting cable, extension cable, if necessary and hose must
be checked regularly and replaced if damaged.
• The supply voltage to the device voltage, which is marked on a plate of the
vacuum pump, matches.
• The lateral air outlet of the vacuum pump is not blowing anyone or stirring
up dust and dirt. The air outlet must be free.
2.2
Obligations of the operator
All persons involved in commissioning, operation, maintenance, repair and
intended use of the FRIATOOLS vacuum pump as well as the required
additional equipment (e.g. power generator), must:
• be correspondingly qualified, and
• strictly observe these operating instructions.
The operating instructions must always be kept at the place of use of the
FRIATOOLS vacuum pump (transport box recommended). The instructions
must be available to the operator any time.
With regard to the intended use, please observe the accident prevention
regulations, environmental regulations and statutory rules, as well as the
relevant safety regulations and all local standards, laws and regulations.
2.3
Structural changes
No modifications, attachments or alterations in FRIATOOLS vacuum pump may
be performed without approval by FRIATEC AG.
