Do not drop tent bag or pole bag on its end. Do not bounce the tent bag to its
end to get the tent out. These actions may cut the shock cord and/or damage
the pole ends.
ASSEMBLY
1.
Unpack the carry bag and separate all the parts. Unroll and unfold
the tent and lay it on the ground with the mesh side up. If windy,
place A into the wind. Stake down the web loop at A.
2.
Assemble the shock-corded poles. Try to prevent pole
sections from snapping together, as this can damage the pole
ends. Make certain each insert end has seated firmly into
each plain end. See fig. 1.

3.
Insert the post ends of the
short tent pole into the web
grommets at C & D. See
fig. 2
4.
Attach the two clips from
the tent to the top of the
pole. See Fig. 3.
5.
Pull the tent fabric taut at B
and stake down the web
loop. This is a tension tent –
not a freestanding tent.

be staked out as you work

6. Insert the post ends of the long
tent pole into the web grommets at
E & F.
7. Attach the six clips from the tent to
the top and sides of the pole. See

8. At the side of the tent, stake out the
floor web loop. Work your way
around the tent, pulling the fabric
taut to remove floor wrinkles as you
go. See fig.4

9. Unfold the fly, turn it right side up and drape it on the tent with the
Eureka! logo over the front peak. Reach under the fly and wrap each
Velcro
strap around a pole. See fig. 5

10. Attach the web buckle from each corner of the fl mate on the corner
tent web. Adjust the web to tension. Be careful,
when finished, the fly must come in
contact with the tent body. See fig. 6.
11. Tie a cord to the storm loops on the fly.
The cords must be staked out. Adjust
The slider to maintain tension sup- port.

Note:
• This tent features a poke-up vent in the fly, with
zippered access in the roof cloth. Pull it open and set
the stay with the Velcro
tab.

• Take down: Detach cords, open doors and pull up
stakes. Remove the clips from the poles and pull posts
out of the grommets. Collapse the poles and stow. Fold
the tent and fly into thirds. Roll up both towards the
door and stow all.
