9. Pivot the coffee filter holder (6) to the right. Afterwards you can pull it upwards
and remove it from the machine for cleaning. Afterwards, put it in the machine
again.
10. Please make two brewing operations for both containers without any coffee or
espresso before you use the machine the first time. Please decoct both
containers (4) and (5) with water two times to ensure that no production-
related residues remain in them. Act as described in the following chapters,
but do not put any coffee or espresso in the filters and use cold water instead
of milk.
Attention - Pressure
Never open the screw cap of the pressure container (4) or remove the filter holder
(11), while using the espresso machine and while the container is under pressure.
How to determine whether the machine is still under pressure:
1. Turn the switches (1) and (2) to position 0 and unplug the power plug.
2. Wait approx. 10 minutes and let the machine cool down.
3. Turn the steam check valve (9) slowly clockwise, until the steam discharges. If
no steam discharges, you can open the pressure container (4) without any
risks. Otherwise, close the valve and proceed as follows:
4. Take a jar and fill it with cold water.
5. Hold the steam nozzle (10) in the jar and open the steam check valve (9)
counter clockwise, until no steam discharges any more.
6. After that, you can remove screw cap and filter holder without any risks.
