Keep your Vax like new
Assembling your vacuum cleaner

WARNING: Ensure the unit is unplugged from electricity before fitting the hose and tools.
!
IMPORTANT: The optional TurboTool is only for vacuuming scratch-resistant carpets, rugs, mats, and the
like. Do not clean furniture, or materials with a delicate texture, nor any other high-quality or polished substrates
with the TurboTool, otherwise material damage might occur. If in doubt please refrain from using the TurboTool. In
every instance observe the instructions for care and cleaning of the respective manufacturer.
NOTE: The Turbobrush, hard floor tool, crevice tool, upholstery tool and dusting brush can all be
attached directly to the telescopic tube or hose handle. The TurboTool should first be attached to the supplied
connector before fitting onto the hose handle.

Operating the appliance

NOTE: Fully unwind the power cord. A yellow mark on the cord indicates the recommended cord length. Do not
exceed the cord length beyond the yellow mark.

IMPORTANT: The condition of the filters affects the

performance of your machine. Please check and wash filters
periodically (depending on the level of use). For full cleaning
instructions, see pages 9 and 10.
IMPORTANT: Do not use the vacuum cleaner without all of the

filters in place.
