11. Commissioning

The correct function of the EW-system can
only be guaranteed if it has been commis-
sioned correctly.
The first step during commissioning is to set
up the flow quantity at the pump. See also
Chapter 8.10, Brine circulation pump.
Then program the system in the Service
menu, with programs P5 to P15.

11.1 Pump flow quantity

The pump performance must be set in line
with the system size. The pump installed in
the pump assembly has three speed levels
that can be switched at the pump.
Set the pump performance suitable to the
system size as follows:
 Switch the system on.
 Remove the pump assembly insulation
shell.

 Read off the flow quantity from the scale on
the flow quantity display.
Read-off position = Top edge of the float. In
this example, it is 3 l/min.
 Multiply the read-off value by 60 to get
value in litres/hour.
 If necessary, set a different sped at the
pump, in order to maintain the required flow
(→ table in Chapter 8.10). The flow
quantity can be adjusted at the regulator
(→ arrow).
 Check the flow quantity after making an
adjustment.
 Refit the insulation shell.
