7. Installation
The Installation and acceptance of optical receiver include the following steps:
1) The optical receiver has to be mounted vertically on the wall for effective heat dissipation.
2) The optical input between -6 and +2 dBm is recommended. If the optical input level is higher, then the
signal could be distorted or the unit damaged.
3) Fiber optic connectors are SC/APC connectors. Before connection you must use anhydrous alcohol
cleaner in order to reduce further losses or reflection. This avoids affecting receiver performance.
4) After connecting the power, the green "operating power LED" will light-up. Then the optical input power
LED will display the corresponding colours according to the strength of the optical input power.
5) The various requirements of the output signals can be configured with adjustable actuators.
