X.Maintenance and
cleaning
1. The solid PTFE encased
dispensing piston of this
unique titrator ensures that
the cylinder always slides
without problems.

It is nevertheless recommen-
ded to clean the unit at regular
intervals.
2. Under no circumstances
should it be left uncleaned
after being fully discharged!
Otherwise the piston cylinder
system and the sapphire valves
will dry and stick. Should this
occur unintentionally, leave ti-
trator without electronic parts
and mechanic in cold water for
several hours or clean ultraso-
nically. Once the piston begins
to move again, dismantle and
remove residual impurities with
normal laboratory cleaning
agent (alcohol or other similar
liquids).
3. If the dispenser is not be
used for a lengthy period of
time it is advisible to empty the
unit and to rinse the titrator with
a suitable cleaning solution. We
recommend to fill up the titrator
with distilled water, etc. if it is to
be stored without use for a long
time.
4.When changing the dispen-
sing fluid the instrument should
first be operated several times
with a cleaning fluid. (Gear in
central position Fig. 1, page 4)

und Ausstoßbewegungen

3. In dieser Position kann das
Titrier-Gerät auch als
Dispenser benutzt werden.
Um Flüssigkeit in den Zylin-
der zu saugen, muss das
Gehäuseteil nach oben
gezogen werden (Abb. 6.)
Das Abgeben von Flüssigkeit
erfolgt durch Niederdrücken
des Gerätekopfes.
4. Kolben per Hand bis etwa
zum oberen Anschlag
bringen (Abb. 6).
Getriebe befindet sich in
Makro-Position (Abb. 1,
Seite 4). Auf Wunsch in
Mikro-Position einrasten.

Durch Taste 'ON/OFF'
Gerät einschalten.
Im Display erscheint Anzeige
0,00. Andere Anzeige mit
'RESET' löschen.
5. Titration kann beginnen
Titrieren in Makro-Position
(Abb.1, Seite 4) - mit grau-
em Stellrad, schwarzes
Stellrad übergreifend -
Titrieren in Mikro-Position
(Abb. 2, Seite 4) - nur mit
schwarzem Stellrad - die
titrierte Flüssigkeitsmenge
wird im Display angezeigt.

6. Sollte gegebenenfalls die im
Zylinder vorhandene Menge
zur Titration nicht ausreichen,
kann duch erneutes Ansau-
gen mit dem Stellrad Titrier-
substanz aus der Vorrats-
flasche angesaugt werden.
Der bereits titrierte Volumen-
wert bleibt im Display sicht-
bar gespeichert!
Neue Ansaugmenge wird in
der LCD-Anzeige unterdrückt.
Bei Fortsetzung der Titration
erfolgt automatische
Addition.
