7. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
device. This also applies to the cleaning of the device.
8. Do not allow anybody to use this device who is not familiar with it or has
not read these instructions.
9. Do not open the housing under any circumstances. Never insert any
objects into the interior of the housing. RISK OF SHORT CIRCUIT!
10. Do not submerge the device in water and also do not use
the device near water. Do not allow any liquids to penetrate
into the device.

11. Do not use the device outdoors or in the bathroom, and refrain from
using near sinks or pools filled with water.
12. Installation of a residual current protective device with a rated tripping
current not exceeding 30mA is recommended as additional protection in the
bathroom circuit. Please consult your electrician in this respect.
13. RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! Never touch the device and the mains
plug with wet or damp hands, and do not use the device while standing on a
wet floor.
14. Do not use the device next to or near to hot surfaces and exposed
ignition sources (e.g. hobs, ovens, radiators or candles).
15. Check that the mains voltage and the type of electrical current matches
the information provided on the type plate before connecting the device to
the mains power supply.
16. Regularly check the device, mains plug and the mains cable for
damage.
17. Do not use the device if it displays any signs of damage or if the device
has fallen onto the floor or may have been otherwise damaged.
18. Please contact customer services if the device malfunctions or there are
any signs of damage.
19. To avoid any dangerous situations arising, a faulty device may only be
repaired by either the manufacturer, its customer service department or a
similarly qualified person.
20. Do not misuse the cable to carry or suspend the device or to pull the
plug out of the mains socket. Do not wind the cable around the device.
Keep the cable away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving device
components and ensure that it is not crushed, bent or scoured.
21. Arrange the cable so that it is not possible for anyone to unintentionally
pull or trip over the cable.
22. If using an extension cable, it should be suitable for the corresponding
power requirements.
