You have bought a safe product. However, the customer shares responsibility for the proper set up of the patio heater, as well as for its operation and mainte-
nance.
Various pieces of safety equipment protect you from damage and injuries. In these instructions, we have put together everything that you need to know for
your safety. You will acquire knowledge and know-how. Read and follow the operating instructions before assembling and putting the appliance into use.
In particular, read the safety instructions. Only use the appliance as described in these instructions.
Non-compliance with the instructions may result in explosions and fires!

Intended purpose

The patio heater should only be used outdoors.
WARNING: Note for children and persons with limited capacities
This appliance is not intended for use by children or persons with limited capacities. It should only be used by persons who are in a position to use the
appliance safely.
General hazards
WARNING:
• The patio heater has sharp edges which you could cut yourself on. When assembling, servicing, cleaning or transporting, wear protective gloves.
• Never transport the patio heater if it is still burning or is hot.
• The patio heater will have hot surfaces. There is a risk of burning! Instruct people nearby to keep a safe distance of 1 meter.
• Children that are present must be closely supervised.
• The assembly of the patio heater requires basic technical knowledge and manual skills. Seek help from a qualified person.
• Have the maintenance and repair performed by gas specialists.
• Never perform changes to the gas or control system by yourself. There is a risk of explosion and fire!
• The operation on ships or vehicles is prohibited.
• The use of this appliance in closed rooms can be dangerous and is prohibited!
• This heater is only intended for use outdoors and in well-ventilated rooms.
• A well-ventilated room must be opened to at least 25 % of the entire area of the room.
• The total area of the entire room corresponds to the sum of all the surfaces of the respective walls.
• Prior to using this appliance, please read the instruction manual. The appliance must be assembled in accordance with the instructions and local regu-
lations.
• Do not store combustible materials near the heater.
• Close the gas valve on the gas cylinder and/or on the regulator after use.
