AND LOOP 1 AND LOOP 2 SELECTORS WITH LED INDICATORS
These heavy-duty footswitches activate and deactivate loops 1 and
2. If the PFFX is supplied with 9V DC the corresponding LED in-
dicators light up while loops are active. The true bypass wiring
prevents pickup loading when both loops are deselected to maintain
your guitar's natural tone.

Set these switches to the LIFT position to eliminate ground loop
hum.

LOOP / MUTE SELECTOR
When set to the MUTE position this switch turns the LOOP 2 SELECTOR
into a mute switch shutting off the signal to your amp, e.g for
plugging into another guitar without the popping noise. Connecting
a tuner to the SEND 2 jack and pressing the LOOP 2 footswitch pro-
vides silent tuning convenience.
NOTE: You can also insert the Palmer PFFX into an amplifier's ef-
fects loop. With your pedals connected to the PFFX as described
above, run a quality 1/4" instrument cable from your amp's effects
send to the unit's input and another from the PFFX output to the
amplifier's effects return.
To check your effects loop setup turn on the amp and keep it at a
low volume. Activate LOOP 1 and switch the pedals on and off one
after another to verify proper function. Do the same for LOOP 2,
also if you've selected the mute / tuner function. Sounds alright?
If it does it IS alright! Now turn it up and ROCK...
