Possible causes:
With fence: Heavy vegetation on the fence, poor insulators, short circuit on metal posts, or fence
too long
Without fence: Device is defective; see Service
The Error LED (LED2), on the other hand, indicates system errors, such as charging problems,
undervoltage, or device faults. If the Error LED remains lit, the device must be inspected before
further operation.
Power economiser:
A fi tted power economiser matches power consumption to the state of the fence. This means less
current consumption with well insulated fences and a greater current consumption with poorly
insulated fences (leakages due to plant growth, etc.).
The magnetic rotary switch (Fig. 6) can be used to select different modes. Turning the switch
allows you to select the desired mode.

NORMAL-MODUS
The device operates in normal mode and delivers up to 3 J of output energy.

Current consumption: 20–244 mA

ECO-MODUS
The device is in Eco Mode; output power is reduced. Max. 2 J

SMART-MODUS
The device is controlled via APN*.

AKKUTEST
The device uses the LED bar to display the battery's current charge level. After
turning on the mode, it may take a moment for the current values to appear.
Each LED represents approximately ~12 % of the charge level. When 3 LEDs
are lit, the current charge level is approximately ~36 %.
TAG/NACHT-MODUS
The device operates at normal speed and full power during the day; at night,
the speed and power are reduced.
