2/ DIRECTIONS FOR USE

• The bioclimatic pergola allows you to enjoy pleasant and friendly moments in your garden. It
lets you benefit from the sun and appreciate its shade and coolness. The pergola is fixed to the
ground, making it a permanent structure. No need to take it down every autumn—you can enjoy
it all year round.
• At least two people in good physical condition are needed to install this awning. Do not try to
assemble this product alone. If the awning falls down, it could cause serious injury or damage.
• Any failure to fulfil these directions of use and maintenance may result in invalidation of the
warranty.
• The guarantee does not cover deterioration caused by failing to respect the above guidelines.

3/ CARE AND MAINTENANCE

• Never use abrasive chemical products or solvents to clean the product.
• Use a mixture of water and detergent and a soft, clean cloth to clean the pergola.
• Dust and dirt accumulate on the pergola and should be cleaned periodically.
• Regularly remove leaves and/or water from the roof.
• Air dry or wipe with a soft, clean cloth.
• For dirtier areas, rinse the surface with clean water from top to bottom.
• In coastal areas, we recommend spraying the pergola frequently with water to reduce the build-
up of salt and dirt.
• When the temperature is below 0°C/32°F , we recommend using the product less frequently to
extend its life.
• Do not activate the pergola during maintenance work, such as cleaning nearby windows.
• In most situations, it is not necessary to lubricate the moving parts of the pergola. However, in
the event of squeaking, we recommend using a silicone-based spray lubricant.
• Do not use petroleum-based spray lubricants.

PERIODIC INSPECTION :

Inspect the installation frequently for imbalance and signs of wear or damage to cables and springs.
Do not use if repairs or adjustments are required.
• Check that the pergola is securely fixed to the ground.
• Check that the moving parts of the pergola are working properly.
• Check that the control parts are sufficiently lubricated.
• Check the screws and rivets on the pergola.
• Check the condition of the movable roof and bearings.
