BEFORE FIRST USE
• Take the appliance and accessories out the box. Remove the stickers, protective
foil or plastic from the device.
•
Before using your appliance for the first time, wipe off all removable parts with a
damp cloth. Never use abrasive products.
• Make sure that all parts of the fan are completely assembled and all screws and
nuts are tightened securely before switching the fan on.
• Place the device on a flat stable surface and ensure a minimum of 10 cm. free
space around the device. This device is not suitable for installation in a cabinet or
for outside use.
•
Set all the controls to the OFF position and insert the plug into a socket outlet that
is compatible with the rating label on the product.Be sure that the plug fits firmly.
USE
• The fan may be operated by using either the manual controls located on the front of
the fan A or by your remote control A .

• When you plug in the fan for the first time, it will make a "Beep" sound. This means
it is in standby mode. At this time, only the ON/OFF button B
buttons will not do anything until you turn the fan on.
• Use the On/Off button B to turn on the bladeless fan. Press the button first time,

the fan will run at low speed, press it second time to turn off the fan.
• Press the speed button B to cycle through the fan speed: 1, 2, 3 and 4 (speeds).

• Press the swing button B to make the unit automatically swing from left to right.

• Press the timer button B to set how long the fan will run. You can choose

between 1 and 9 hours.
• Press the light button B once to turn on the ambient light on the bottom of the

bladeless fan. Press it again to turn off the ambient light.
REPLACING THE BATTERIES
The remote control is powered by 2 AAA batteries (not included). Follow the steps
below to insert or replace it:
•
Turn over the remote and slide off the battery cover.
• Replace the batteries with the same type, and make sure they are placed correctly
as noted in the remote
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Unplug the appliance before cleaning.
• Clean the appliance with a damp cloth. Never use harsh and abrasive cleaners,
scouring pad or steel wool, which damages the appliance.
• Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids or place it in a dishwasher.
DISPOSAL
This product is labelled with this crossed out wheel bin symbol in accordance
with European Directive 2012/19/EC to indicate that it must not be disposed
of with your other household waste. Due to the presence of hazardous
substances, mixtures or components, electrical and electronic devices
that are not subject to selective sorting are potentially dangerous to the
environment and human health. Please check your local city office or waste

• Dit apparaat mag niet worden gebruikt door
kinderen jonger dan 8 jaar. Dit apparaat kan
worden gebruikt door kinderen vanaf 8 jaar en
door personen met verminderde lichamelijke,
zintuiglijke of geestelijke vermogens of gebrek
aan de benodigde ervaring en kennis indien ze
onder toezicht staan of instructies krijgen over
hoe het apparaat op een veilige manier kan

BESCHRIJVING APPARAAT
Beoogd gebruik
Dit apparaat is uitsluitend bedoeld voor gebruik binnenshuis.
Dit apparaat is uitsluitend bedoeld voor huishoudelijk, niet-commercieel gebruik.
Dit apparaat is bedoeld om gebruikt te worden in huishoudelijke en soortgelijke
toepassingen zoals:
- personeelskeuken in winkels, kantoren en andere werkomgevingen;
- boerderijen;
- door klanten in hotels, motels en andere types residentiële omgevingen;
- omgevingen van het type bed and breakfast
Elk gebruik van het apparaat anders dan beschreven in deze gebruiksaanwijzing wordt
beschouwd als verkeerd gebruik en kan letsel of schade aan het apparaat veroorzaken
en de garantie ongeldig maken.
Dit product bevat een lichtbron van energie-efficiëntieklasse F.
De lichtbron in deze armatuur mag alleen worden vervangen door de fabrikant,
zijn serviceagent of een vergelijkbaar gekwalificeerd persoon.

VOOR HET EERSTE GEBRUIK
• Haal het apparaat en de accessoires uit de doos. Verwijder de stickers,
beschermende folie of plastic van het apparaat.
• Neem alle verwijderbare onderdelen af met een vochtige doek voordat u het
apparaat voor het eerst gebruikt. Gebruik nooit schurende producten.
• Zorg ervoor dat alle onderdelen van de ventilator volledig gemonteerd zijn en dat
alle schroeven en moeren goed vastzitten voordat u de ventilator inschakelt.
• Plaats het apparaat op een vlakke stabiele ondergrond en zorg voor minimaal 10
cm vrije ruimte rondom het apparaat. Dit apparaat is niet geschikt voor inbouw in
een kast of voor buitengebruik.
• Zet alle knoppen op OFF en steek de stekker in een stopcontact dat compatibel is
met het typeplaatje op het product. Zorg ervoor dat de stekker stevig vastzit.
GEBRUIK
• De ventilator kan handmatig worden bediend met de knoppen aan de voorkant A
of met de afstandsbediening. A

• Als je de ventilator voor het eerst aansluit, maakt hij een "Beep"-geluid. Dit betekent
dat hij in stand-by staat. Op dat moment werkt alleen de AAN/UIT-knop B
andere knoppen doen niets totdat je de ventilator aanzet.
• Druk op de knoppen ON en OFF B om de ventilator in of uit te schakelen.

• Druk op de knop SPEED B om te schakelen tussen de drie beschikbare

ventilatorsnelheden. Hoog, gemiddeld en laag.
• Druk op de zwenkknop B om het apparaat automatisch van links naar rechts te

laten zwaaien.
• Druk op de timerknop B om in te stellen hoe lang de ventilator moet draaien. Je
4
kunt kiezen tussen 1 en 9 uur.
• Druk één keer op de lichtknop B om het omgevingslicht aan de onderkant van de
5
ventilator zonder bladen in te schakelen. Druk er nogmaals op om het
omgevingslicht uit te schakelen.
DE BATTERIJEN VERVANGEN
De afstandsbediening werkt op 2 AAA-batterijen (niet inbegrepen). Volg de
onderstaande stappen om ze te plaatsen of te vervangen:
• Draai de afstandsbediening om en schuif het batterijklepje eraf.
• Vervang de batterijen door hetzelfde type en zorg ervoor dat ze op de juiste manier
worden geplaatst, zoals aangegeven in de afstandsbediening.
REINIGING EN ONDERHOUD
• Haal de stekker uit het stopcontact voordat u het apparaat schoonmaakt.
•
Maak het apparaat schoon met een vochtige doek. Gebruik nooit agressieve en
schurende reinigingsmiddelen, schuurspons of staalwol, die het apparaat
beschadigen.
• Dompel het apparaat nooit onder in water of andere vloeistoffen en plaats het ook
niet in de afwasmachine.
VERWIJDERING
Dit product is gelabeld met dit symbool van een doorgekruiste vuilnisbak
in overeenstemming met de Europese Richtlijn 2012/19/EC om aan te
geven dat het niet samen met uw andere huishoudelijke afval mag worden
weggegooid. Door de aanwezigheid van gevaarlijke stoffen, mengsels
of componenten kunnen elektrische en elektronische apparaten die
niet selectief gesorteerd worden, gevaarlijk zijn voor het milieu en de
menselijke gezondheid. Raadpleeg het plaatselijke stadskantoor of de
afvalverwijderingsdienst voor het inleveren en recyclen van dit product.
