3.2 Aufbau des Signalmastes
1. Den Signalkorb entsprechend Abb. 1 an den Mast kleben.
2. Den Schaltkasten von hinten unten an den Mast kleben.
3. Den Signalschirm von hinten mit schwarzer Farbe an-
malen, vor allem die LEDs, und die Messingleiterbahn ab-
decken.
3.3 Aufstellung und Betrieb
In die Grundplatte ein Loch von 5,5 cm Durchmesser boh-
ren, Anschlussdrähte durchfädeln und Signal mit Patent-
steckfuss einstecken. Dann eine Signalsteuerung anschlie-
ßen, z. B. Art.-Nr. 5220 Steuermodul für Licht-Vorsignal.

Achtung:
Kurzschlussgefahr!
Sollte der Signalsteuerbaustein so weit vom
Signalstandort entfernt sein, dass die Anschluss-
kabel verlängert werden müssen, so müssen Sie die
Verlängerungskabel ganz dicht am Widerstand bzw.
an der Diode anlöten. Isolieren Sie die Lötstellen mit
Schrumpfschlauch. Verhindern Sie, dass sich blan-
ke Drähte gegenseitig berühren können, sonst droht
Kurzschlussgefahr.
4. Gewährleistung
Jeder Artikel wurde vor Auslieferung auf volle Funktio-
nalität geprüft. Der Gewährleistungszeitraum beträgt 2
Jahre ab Kaufdatum. Tritt in dieser Zeit ein Fehler auf
und Sie finden die Fehlerursache nicht, nehmen Sie bitte
Kontakt mit uns auf (service@viessmann-modell.com).
Senden Sie uns den Artikel zur Kontrolle bzw. Reparatur
bitte erst nach Rücksprache zu. Wird nach Überprüfung
des Artikels ein Herstell- oder Materialfehler festgestellt,
wird er kostenlos instand gesetzt oder ausgetauscht.
Von der Gewährleistung und Haftung ausgeschlossen
sind Beschädigungen des Artikels sowie Folgeschäden,
die durch unsachgemäße Behandlung, Nichtbeachten
der Bedienungsanleitung, nicht bestimmungsgemäßen
Gebrauch, eigenmächtigen Eingriff, bauliche Verände-
rungen, Gewalteinwirkung, Überhitzung u. ä. verursacht
werden.

3.2 Construction of the signal mast
1. Glue the signal cage to the mast as per fig. 1.
2. Glue the control box to the back of the mast at the bottom.
3. Paint the back of the signal shield black.
Take particular care to cover the back of the LEDs with
black paint as well as the brass conductor path.
3.3 Installation and operation
Drill a 5,5 cm hole into layout base, lead the wires
through it and insert the signal with its patented plug-in
base. Connect the signal to a suitable control module like
item-No. 5220 control module for distant signals. You will
find more detailed information regarding the wiring of col-
our light signals in our main catalogue as well as in the
signal book item-No. 5299.
Risk of short circuit!
If the distance of the colour light signal controle mod-
ule is so big to the signal location, that the connec-
tion cables have to be stretched, the cables must
be soldered very close to the diode resp. resistors.
Insulate the soldering with heat shrink tube. Avoid
contact between bare wires in order to prevent short
circuit.
4. Warranty
Each modell is tested to its full functionality prior to de-
livery. The warranty period is 2 years starting from the
date of purchase. Should a fault occur during this period
please contact our service department (service@viess-
mann-modell.com). Please send the item to the Viess-
mann service department for checking and repair only
after consultation. If we find a material or production fault
to be the cause of the failure the item will be repaired
free of charge or replaced. Expressively excluded from
any warranty claims and liability are damages of the item
and consequential damages due to inappropriate hand-
ling, disregarding the instructions of this manual, inap-
propriate use of the model, unauthorized disassembling,
construction modifications and use of force, overheating
and similar.
