3. OPERATIONS
We recommend that you charge your corkscrew for at least 12 hours before using it for the first time..
Please follow the instructions for recharging below:
Recharging your corkscrew
• Plug one end of the adaptor cord into the case of the recharging unit and the other end into a main
socket.
• Place the corkscrew into recharging unit, ensuring that it is firmly in position and is fully engaged with
the recharging connectors.
• When the corkscrew is fully recharged it can be used to open approximately 30 bottles.
Notes:
 Full charge is indicated by 4 blue bars.
 Charge indicator will light up as the appliance is installed in the charge base and as the appliance is
running.
Foil-cutter using
This unit is equipped with a removable foil cutter. Before using the corkscrew, you must remove any foil
from the top of the bottle using the foil cutter provided.
• Place the foil cutter on the neck of the bottle.
• Hold firmly the bottle by its lower part and on the other the foil cutter. Make rotating movements in
order to cut the protection.
• Remove any part of the protection that would be on the top of the cork (in contact with the unit).
Corkscrew using
1. Hold the bottle tight with one hand and install the appliance on bottle neck in vertical position.
2. Slightly put pressure on appliance body-blue indicator will light up and corkscrew spiral will penetrate
the cork. Hold the appliance until the mechanism stops automatically and light indicator goes off.
You can see the removed cork inside the transparent part of the body.
