II. ASSEMBLY AND DISASSEMBLY
a: Assembly / setup
Setup (preparation & inflation)
•
Carefully remove the product from its packaging.
•
Lay the product flat on a sufficiently large, level and stable surface.
•
Ensure that there is enough space to use the product.
•
Follow the instructions for operating the valve and the correct procedures for
inflating.
Prepare the valve (inflation):
•
Ensure that the centre valve pin is in the 'UP' position.
•
If it is in the 'DOWN' position, press it down and allow it to spring back to the
'UP' position.
Inflation:
•
Unscrew the valve cap.
•
Press the valve pin and open the valve.
•
Allow the air to flow into the product naturally at first.
•
Press the valve pin again to close the valve (position 'UP').
•
Connect the pump hose to the air connection (half turn).
•
Pump air into the product by moving the pump piston up and down.
•
Fill the product to the required pressure.
•
Stop inflating when the pressure gauge reads 5 psi.
•
Then tighten the valve cap – this is the only way to ensure that the product is
completely airtight.
Important information:
•
Do not overinflate the product, as the air will expand and may damage the
seams.
•
Do not use high-pressure air machines, as these may damage the product.
•
Assembly must be carried out by adults.
