CDs in MP3 Format:
In the display the symbols "STOP" and "ESP" appear
together with the number of folders e.g. 04 and the to-
tal number of tracks. Press the
the CD. The CD is played back from the fi rst track
onwards and from the fi rst folder. The song currently
being played and the time that has elapsed are shown
in the display. With the PRE-UP or PRE-DN buttons
(15/17/43/53) you can select the individual folders.
Keeping the button briefl y pressed starts the track
search.
With the number buttons you can then select the
desired title/track.
Example: In order to play back track number 05
please press the number 5 key; the number "005"
fl ashes. Begin playback with the
Track number 112 can be heard by pressing the
number 1 key twice followed by the 2 key (depending
on the CD). If the MP3-CD contains several folders
the track number of the entire CD is shown, e.g. track
135 is in the fourth folder with the number 03.
5. By briefl y pressing one of the !/ I
buttons (9/38/47) you can jump one track forwards or
backwards. If the button is held down while the track
is being played the music search starts

(the sound is muted).
6. In order to remove a CD, please press the
button (11/48), open the CD compartment and lift the
CD carefully out.
Always keep the CD deck closed.
Note: If a disc has been inserted the wrong way round,
or no disc has been inserted, the symbol „CD READ"
appears in the display followed by „NO DISC".
Description of the CD Buttons
II (10/46)
You can briefl y interrupt the playing. The symbol in the
display (6) fl ashes. Press the
nue playback.
!/ I
TUN/SKIP (9/38)
Press once :
This starts the current track again
from the beginning.
Press twice:
This jumps back to the previous
track.
Press three times: This plays the song before etc. If
the button is kept pressed down, the
machine starts to search through the
tracks.
I /n TUN/SKIP (9/47)
With this button you can jump to the next or next-but-one
track etc.. If the button is kept pressed down, the machine
starts to search through the tracks.

available (CLASSIC, ROCK, POP, JAZZ, PASS).
MUTE (44)
Used for switching off the sound immediately. To cancel
this function, press the MUTE key again.
FIND/MP3 (16/49)
You can search for the content on the CD (if burned on
the MP3) as follows:
Press once:
The name of the fi rst track with the
initial „A" is shown in the display. If
the word „A-NONE" appears there is
no track available with the initial „A".
With the !/ I
(9/38/47) it is possible to select the fi rst
track of the following initial "A-Z" and
"0-9". With the
with the selected initial is played back.
Press twice:
The track of the fi rst folder appears
in the display. Use the !/ I
I /n buttons (9/38/47) to select
the desired folder and press the
button. Playback begins with the fi rst
track of this folder.
Press three times: The display changes to normal ope-
ration.
REPEAT (13/41)
Press once:
The current track is repeated con-
tinuously (REPEAT appears in the
display)
Press twice:
The whole CD is played continuously
(REPEAT ALL appears in the display)
Press three times: The function is deactivated and the
CD is played in the normal mode.
Only for CDs in MP3 format
Press once:
The current track is repeated con-
tinuously (REPEAT appears in the
display)
Press twice:
The whole CD is played continuously
(REPEAT ALL appears in the display)
Press three times: The selected folder of the MP3 CD
is repeated continuously (REPEAT
ALBUM appears in the display). With
the PRE-UP or PRE-DN buttons (15/
17/43/53) you can select the individu-

The function is deactivated and the
CD is played in the normal mode.
ESP (Anti-Shock Function)
It fi lls the 40-second electronic memory to protect against
the jumping of the CD. If the player is jolted, the CD
music data is read out continuously from an intermediate
memory (not in MP3 mode). Reading errors are corrected
subsequently in the intermediate memory. After the player
has been switched on this appears in the display to show
that the anti-shock function has been activated and the
memory is being charged. Press the FIND/ESP button
(49) if you want to deactivate this function.
