Power cable
Do not tamper with the power supply components: risk of death from
electric shock!
• Always check that the power supply is correctly connected to the mains.
• Do not use damaged power supply components.
• Do not modify the power supply components.
• The socket must be close to the device and easily accessible.
• Do not connect or disconnect the plug with wet hands.
• Do not disconnect the plug by pulling on the cable: always grasp the plug by the body.
• Unplug the plug if the device is not used for long periods.
• In case of thunderstorms, disconnect the device for added safety.
• Avoid crushing, bending, damaging the cable with sharp edges or subjecting it to mechanical stress.
• Protect the cable from extreme temperatures, both high and low.
• Do not modify the power cable. A damaged cable can cause fatal electric shocks.
• Do not touch the cable if it appears damaged.
• A damaged cable must only be replaced by the manufacturer, an authorised service centre or
qualified personnel to avoid any danger.
• Always arrange cables so that no one can trip over or get tangled up in them.
• Install in a well-ventilated area and not in a completely sealed enclosure.
• Avoid installation near flammable or explosive materials.
• Use cables with a cross-section suitable for the rated current (appropriate AWG).
• Do not open or modify the power supply.
• Do not cover the cooling surfaces.
• Disconnect immediately in case of malfunction.
• Use in accordance with European electrical safety and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)
directives.
