Instructions for a safe use
Special safety instructions for battery-powered tools
Read all safety warnings and instructions carefully.
Failure to follow the warnings and instructions may result in electric shock, fire or serious injury.
Keep these instructions for future reference.
The term „power tool" refers to both mains-powered (corded) and battery-powered (cordless) tools.
Work area
• Keep the work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or poorly lit areas increase the risk of accidents.
• Do not use power tools in potentially explosive environments, such as in the presence of flammable
liquids, gases or dust. Power tools can generate sparks that could ignite fumes or dust.
• Keep children and unauthorised persons away while using the tool. Distractions can cause loss of
control.
Electrical safety
• Always check that the power supply corresponds to the voltage indicated on the tool's rating plate.
• Tool plugs must match the sockets. Never modify the plug. Do not use adapters with grounded tools.
Compatible, unmodified plugs reduce the risk of electric shock.
• Avoid body contact with earthed surfaces such as pipes, radiators, cookers or refrigerators. The risk
of electric shock increases if your body is earthed.
Service
• The power supply should only be serviced by qualified personnel using original spare parts. This
ensures compliance with safety standards.
