SC Pico Dual – Operating & Changing the Mode
Note
1 This function should only be used at room temperature, to ensure that the correct "base
resistance" is locked
2 When you remove the coil and then put it back while in resistance lock mode, the device
can maintain the same "base resistance" although the coil resistance may increase due to the
rise of temperature When you remove the coil and then put a coil back while in resistance
unlock mode, the screen may display "New coil up same down" If it is the same coil, press the
"-" button and if it is a new coil, press the "+" button When changing coils, be sure to unlock the
resistance so the base resistance matches the new coil
3 If you accidentally use a conventional coil or coils with a resistance greater than 15 ohms
in TC-Ni, Ti-TC, TC-SS or TCR (M1, M2, M3) modes, the device will automatically switch to VW
Mode
