7 Plugging the product to the display device and power
To connect the product to the display device (TV, projector or monitor) and power supply:
1. Turn off the TV/display device.
2. Plug one end of the HDMI cable (not included) to the HDMI port on the product, and plug
the other end of the cable to the HDMI input port on the TV/display device.
3. Plug one end of the USB cable (included) to the USB-C
and plug the other end of the cable to a USB-A port (5 V/DC, min. 500 mA) on the TV or
a suitable USB power adapter to power the product.
The LED indicator light will illuminate solid white to indicate that the product is

connected to the power supply.
4. Turn on the TV/display device and set the input source to HDMI.
The Home screen of the product will be shown on the TV/display device.

5. Observe the SSID, Password and IP address of the product shown on the Home screen to
connect the product to your mobile device and local Wi-Fi network.
The icons on the top corner of the Home screen show the current connected/

disconnected status of your devices.
8 Mounting
Use the included wall mount and the double-sided adhesive tape to mount the product to a wall.
Note:
If you use the double-sided adhesive tape, wait 10 minutes for the adhesive to reach its
full adhesive strength before you place the product in the mount.
9 Screen mirroring
You can mirror the screen of one source device to the HDMI monitor.
There are two ways to mirror the source device screen to the HDMI monitor:
Direct connection of source device and product via Wi-Fi hotspot.
Indirect connection of source device and product via WLAN network.
Mirroring a Google Pixel phone requires a different approach, which is described separately.
Note:
Different brands of Android phones or tablets call the screen mirroring function
differently. For example, it is called Smart View on Samsung devices, Screencast on
OPPO devices, Cast, Google Cast or Cast Screen on Android devices, etc. Refer to
the user manual of your device.
This product does not support some Subscription paid apps that have "HDCP" video
copyright protection like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, Comcast TV, DIRECTV,
Xfinity, Vudu, etc.
9.1 Mirroring via direct connection (Wi-Fi hotspot)
Note:
If you want to mirror or extend your laptop screen, look for wireless display connection/
screen mirroring settings in the operating system and follow the instructions.
1. Turn on Wi-Fi in settings on your source device.
2. Scan the QR code "Scan to Mirroring" displayed on the HDMI monitor --OR-- select the
SSID (Wi-Fi name) of the product "WFD5000-xxxxxxx" in the Wi-Fi list of your mobile
source device and enter the password shown on the HDMI monitor.
The source device is connected directly to the Wi-Fi hotspot of the product.

3. Start mirroring the screen on the source device.
4. To stop screen mirroring, tap "Stop Screen Mirroring" or "Disconnect" on your source
device.
5. Once finished using the product, disconnect the USB cable from the power supply to turn
the product off.
Note:
If you stream video and other Internet content via mobile network, you will incur cost.
9.2 Mirroring via indirect connection (WLAN)
1. Turn on Wi-Fi in settings on your source device.
2. Scan the QR code "Scan to Mirroring" displayed on the HDMI monitor --OR-- select the
SSID (Wi-Fi name) of the product "WFD5000-xxxxxxx" in the Wi-Fi list of your source
device and enter the password shown on the HDMI monitor.
The source device is connected directly to the Wi-Fi hotspot of the product.

3. Scan the QR code "Scan to WiFi router" displayed on the HDMI monitor --OR-- open the
shown IPv4 address in your webbrowser.
4. In the displayed settings menu, go to "Internet".
5. Connect the product to your local Wi-Fi network.
The HDMI monitor shows the active connection in the top right corner.

6. Connect the source device to the same local Wi-Fi network.
7. Start mirroring the screen on the source device.
8. To stop screen mirroring, tap "Stop Screen Mirroring" or "Disconnect" on your source
device.

9. Once finished using the product, disconnect the USB cable from the power supply to turn
the product off.
Note:
Ensure a strong Wi-Fi signal connection between your devices.
9.3 Screen mirroring your Google Pixel phone
1. Turn off the cellular connection (e.g. 4G or 5G cellular network) on your Google Pixel phone
(source device).
2. Turn on Wi-Fi in settings on your source device.
3. Scan the QR code "Scan to Mirroring" displayed on the HDMI monitor --OR-- select the
SSID (Wi-Fi name) of the product "WFD5000-xxxxxxx" in the Wi-Fi list of your source
device and enter the password shown on the HDMI monitor.
The source device is connected directly to the Wi-Fi hotspot of the product.

4. Open the browser on your source device and open the IPv4 address shown on the HDMI
monitor in your webbrowser.
5. In the displayed settings menu, go to "Internet".
6. Connect the product to your local Wi-Fi network.
The HDMI monitor shows the active connection in the top right corner.

7. Connect the source device to the same local Wi-Fi network.
8. On the source device, select Cast (or Google Cast) in Quick Settings, select the SSID
"WFD5000-xxxxxxx" and enter the password previously shown on the HDMI monitor.
If successfully connected, your screen will be mirrored on the TV/display device.

9. To stop screen mirroring, tap "Stop Screen Mirroring" or "Disconnect" on your source
device.
10. Once finished using the product, disconnect the USB cable from the power supply to turn
the product off.
10 Troubleshooting
Problem

Make sure all cables are firmly inserted into the input/

11 Cleaning and care
Important:
– Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions.
They damage the housing and can cause the product to malfunction.
– Do not immerse the product in water. Do not rinse the product under the tap or expose
to moisture.
Before cleaning, disconnect the product from the power supply and the connected device.
Wipe the product with a soft, dry cloth.
