Intended use
The laser pointer is intended for highlighting details on objects, display boards etc. and for
creating a laser pattern effect. Never point the laser pointer at people or animals.
The device is powered via a built-in rechargeable battery and must only be charged via a USB
power supply. This USB power supply must be able to deliver the current listed in the "Techni-
cal data" section.
Any use other than that described above may damage the product and will expose you to ad-
ditional risks such as eye damage, short circuits, fire, electrical shocks etc.

a) General information
• This product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• For safety reasons, any unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the prod-
uct is not permitted.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. It may become a danger-
ous plaything for children.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts, flam-
mable gases, vapours and solvents.
• Handle the product carefully. It can be damaged by impact, blows, or by being
dropped, even from a low height.
• Never expose the product to any excessive mechanical stress.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, stop using it and prevent
unauthorised use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stress.
• Discontinue use of the appliance in the event of malfunctions, defects or after a
fall and have it repaired by a specialist. Improper repairs can be hazardous to
the user.
• Consult a specialist if you have any doubts regarding the use or safety of the
product.
• Maintenance, modifications and repairs must be carried out by a technician or a
specialist repair centre.
• If you are not sure how to operate the product correctly or have any questions
or concerns after you have familiarised yourself with the operating instructions,
please contact our technical support or another specialist.
• In addition, observe the additional safety information in each section of these in-
structions.
b) Rechargeable battery
• The built-in battery must only be charged when inside the device. Do not attempt
to remove the battery or charge it using an external charger outside the device.
• The rechargeable battery may only be charged via the USB port of a USB power
supply with a suitable load capacity (see "Technical Data" section). Using another
power supply with a different charging current may damage the device and cause
the built-in battery to overheat, catch fire or explode.
c) Operation
• When operating the laser equipment, always make sure that the laser beam is
directed so that no one is in the projection area and that unintentional reflected
beams (e.g. from reflective objects) cannot be directed into areas where people
are present.
• Laser radiation can be dangerous if the laser beam or its reflection penetrates un-
protected eyes. Therefore, before using the laser equipment, familiarise yourself
with the statutory regulations and instructions for operating such a laser device.
• Never look into the laser beam and never point it at people or animals. Laser radia-
tion can seriously damage your eyes.
• If laser radiation enters your eyes, close your eyes immediately and move your
head away from the beam.
• Do not point the laser beam at mirrors or other reflective surfaces. The uncon-
trolled, reflected beam may strike people or animals.
• If your eyes have been irritated by laser radiation, do not continue to carry out
tasks with safety implications, such as working with machines, working from great
heights or close to high voltage. Also, do not operate any vehicles until the irrita-
tion has completely subsided.
• The product features a laser unit of laser class 2 and a warning sign, which indi-
cates the hazards posed by the laser beam:
• Caution: Using equipment or procedures other than those described in these oper-
ating instructions could lead to exposure to dangerous radiation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations on accident prevention,
etc., when operating the device in public areas. As an operator, you must obtain
information from the authorities in charge and you are responsible for observing
the applicable laws and regulations.
