Safety and warning notice:

The product may only be used outside of the packaging.

Do not look directly into the LED beam- especially for longer periods of time - without protecting your
eyes. A LED beam should not be directed into other people's eyes.

Take the parts carefully out of the packaging.

Make sure, before using the product that it has not been damaged during transportation. Commissioning
is forbidden if there is damage.

Please do not press on the front side of the solar panel, this can lead to damage.

Keep the packaging material well away from children and household pets. The packaging contains small
parts which can be swallowed by small children.

Never make your own repairs to faulty parts.

Do not expose the product to extreme heat or exposed flames.

The entire product must not be changed or modified. Changes made to the product lead to invalidation of
the guarantee (warranty).
Care and maintenance:

The solar unit must be cleaned free from leaves and dirt if necessary. Use a dry or a slightly moist cloth
for cleaning.

Never use chemicals or abrasives for cleaning.
Disposal:

Rechargeable batteries and ordinary batteries must not be disposed of in the household waste. You are
legally obliged, as a final consumer, to return used batteries and rechargeable batteries. You can return
batteries after use to the sales point or the immediate vicinity without charge (public collection points or
retail outlets, for example).

Batteries containing harmful agents are marked with the "crossed out waste bin" and with one of the
chemical symbols Cd (= battery contains cadmium), Hg (= battery contains mercury) or Pb (= battery
contains lead).

Batteries may only be returned in a drained to the used battery bin at the retail outlet and at public
disposal outlets. Batteries which are not completely drained must be prevented from short circuiting.
Short circuiting can be prevented by taping over the terminals with adhesive tape.

Used electronic devices must be brought back to public collection points and must not be disposed of as
household waste.
Installation:

Charge up the batteries for at least 8 hours before using for the first time.

Look for a very brightly lit place with the direct rays of the sun in order to receive as much sunlight as
possible during daytime hours. At least hours of light on the solar cells is necessary for proper operation
of the lights.

All covers and shadows falling on the solar unit have an adverse effect on the charging function of the
battery and according on the brightness and lighting duration of the LEDS.

Install the solar unit at your desired place. Make sure that the sun shines directly onto the solar unit.
Shadows falling onto the solar unit have a negative effect on the charging function of the rechargeable
battery.

Install the LED lights at the desired place. Make sure you have sufficient fastening and that the luminant,
supply line or solar unit do not sustain any damage. Make sure that there are no obstacles to trip over in
the accessible area when laying the cable.

The LED light is put into service by pressing the "ON" switch on the front side of the energy station and
by pressing the switch at the holder.

Press the switch at the holder to switch off the LED light. The batteries are charged up independently
from the whether the switch is set to "ON" or "OFF" (energy station.

The rating plate must not be removed.
