3. OPERATION

1. Place the scale on a stable, flat surface. Place a container or bowl (if needed) on the scale
before use.
2. Gently press the power/tare button to operate the device.
3. The display will turn on and show 88888.
4. Wait for the display to show "0".
5. Place the item to be weighed on the scale (or in the bowl if necessary). The LCD display
will show the result.
6. Once you have finished using the device, press the power/tare button for two seconds
to turn the device off. The device turns automatically off after 2 minutes of no operation.
Replacing batteries

1. Open the battery compartment.
2. Replace the 3 AAA batteries in the compartment. Pay attention to the polarity markings
on the base.
3. Put the cover back in position.
Warning
Make sure that the batteries are inserted correctly according to the polarity markings,
otherwise the electronic parts may be damaged.

Unit conversion
While the device is switched on, press the UNIT button to select the desired unit of measurement
until it is displayed on the screen. Fig.6
Tare function
This function allows a second item to be weighed immediately after weighing the first item
without having to remove it from the scale. Fig.7
1. Gently press the power/tare button to operate the device.
2. The display will turn on and show 88888.
3. Wait for the LCD to display "0" and place the container on the scale platform.
4. The LCD display will show the weight of the container steadily.
5. The LCD display will show the weight of the container as a fixed value.
6. Press the TARE button to remove the container weight and reset the scale to 0. Do not
remove the container.
