Automatic Defrost

∙ Due to system limitations, ice may form on the evaporator. The compressor will
then shut off, and the fan will continue to run until the ice has melted. After that,
the unit will continue to operate normally.

Additional safety features:

∙ Auto-restart function
o In the event of a power failure, the device saves all settings and resumes
operation as soon as the power is restored.
∙ Compressor protection
o To protect the compressor, it shuts off briefly after 8 hours of continuous
operation and then restarts.
Permanent water drainage
∙ Open the cap on the back of the device and connect the included hose. Route the
end of the hose to a lower floor drain. Do not kink the hose.
