SYSTEMFERNBEDIENUNG
Batteriewechsel
Läßt die Reichweite Ihres IR-Gebers nach oder
lassen sich einzelne Funktionen nicht mehr
ausführen, sollten Sie die Batterien auswechseln.
Verwendeter Batterietyp 2x Micro 1,5 Volt LR03,
Größe AAA. Öffnen Sie zum Batteriewechsel den
Deckel des Batteriefaches auf der Rückseite des
Gebers. Achten Sie auf die richtige Polung der
Batterien (Markierung im Batteriefach beachten).
Umwelthinweis:
Denken Sie beim Batteriewechsel daran: Batterien
sind Sondermüll.

This indicates that the MUTING function is active.

This indicates that the tuner is receiving FM stereo broadcasts

5 Signal strength
The more dashes you can see, the stronger the reception of the station
you have tuned to.

If the unit is optimally tuned to a station, the triangle lights up, indicating
the exact station tuning.
7 ANTENNA
comes on when the antenna attenuator is switched off
(FM ANTENNA).
8 CABLE
comes on during broadband cable reception if the antenna attenuator
is switched on (FM CABLE).
9 Station number
This shows the number of the selected memory location (1 to 59)
0 Speakers
This indicates the speaker group(s) which is/are switched on.
! LOUD
This indicates that the LOUDNESS function is switched on.
@ DIRECT
This indicates that the DIRECT function is switched on.
# Alphanumeric display
for (RDS) station name, frequency, radiotext, RDS time, selected
programme type or messages.

OPERATION
Switching on and off

• When you want to switch your receiver on, press
the POWER button.
– The red LED in the middle of the button indicates
that the unit is on

– The receiver will be activated and the source that
was chosen before the power was switched off will
be selected again.
– If the receiver had been switched to standby before
it was switched off, the standby mode will be
selected when the power is switched back on.
– The units connected to the AC outputs are also pro-
vided with power when the receiver is turned on.
• To switch off the receiver press the POWER button
again.
• When you switch the receiver off with POWER, all
other units which are connected to the receiver via the
AC outlets are disconnected from the power supply.
Stand by
• You can switch the system to STAND BY with the
y HIFI button on the system remote control.
– This also disconnects any units connected to the
A.C. outputs from the power supply.
– Active STAND BY mode is indicated by the red LED
in the middle of the power button.
• When you want to switch your system on again,
simply press the SOURCE or MONITOR button on
the unit or one of the source selection buttons on the
remote control.
Note: In order to keep power consumption at about
1W a stand-by transformer has been built in. The
choise for this option is a consequence of Grundig's
environmental policy targeting to reduce unnecessary
power consumption.
