On your purchase of the EMPHASER 2-way system dedicated for Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
If you plan on installing this speaker system by yourself, please read the following instructions
carefully before you attempt the installation.
For any further information about this product, please contact your authorized EMPHASER
dealer.
SET CONTENT
Carefully remove the loudspeakers, crossovers and the accessories from the gift box and
check whether all parts are in good undamaged condition, and match with the set contents
listed below:
■ 2 Coaxial speaker
■ 2 highpass crossover
■ 1 manual

ASSEMBLY
This set is compatible with a variety of Mercedes vehicles. For step by step instructions
on how to disassemble the original loudspeakers of your specific vehicle correctly, please
contact your Mercedes service workshop.
After getting access to the original speaker, gently lever the speaker off with a wide plastic
wedge. To unlock the speaker connector, use a small flat-head screwdriver or a paper clip.
Connect the "OUTPUT" connection cable of the supplied crossover to the EMPHASER
loudspeaker. The cable labeled "INPUT" is to be connected to the vehicle speaker cable
that originally powered the original speaker.
Stow the cables and crossovers and place the speaker on top of the three receiving holes.
Now push the speaker at the ends with the mounting balls into the mounting holes until they
are firmly locked.
Assemble the vehicle in reverse order.
