GENERAL WARNINGS

use this device without parental supervision. 3. Do not use thermometer in ear. Designed use is for oral, rectal, and armpit (axilla) readings only. 4. Do not place
thermometer battery near extreme heat as it may explode. 5. Remove battery from the device when not in operation for a long time. 6. The use of temperature readings
for self-diagnosis is dangerous. Consult your doctor for the interpretation of results. Self-diagnosis may lead to the worsening of existing disease conditions. 7. Do not
attempt measurements when the thermometer is wet as inaccurate readings may result. 8. Do not bite the thermometer. Doing so may lead to breakage and/or injury.
9. Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the thermometer. Doing so may result in inaccurate readings. 10. Equipment must be cleaned and disinfected before and
after each use. 11. Do not force the thermometer into the rectum. Stop insertion and abort the measurement when pain is present. Failure to do so may lead to injury. 12.
Do not use thermometer orally after being used rectally. 13. For children who are two years old or younger, please do not use the devices orally. 14. If the unit has been
stored at temperatures over 5°C～40°C(41°F～104°F) , leave it in 5°C～40°C (41°F～104°F) ambient temperature for about 15 minutes before using it. 15. Use of this
equipment adjacent to or stacked with other equipment should be avoided because it could result in improper operation. If such use is necessary, this equipment and
the other equipment should be observed to verify that they are operating normally. 16. PORTABLE RF communications equipment (including peripherals such as antenna
cables and external antennas)should be used no closer than 30 cm (12 inches) to any part of the [ME EQUIPMENT or ME SYSTEM],including cables specified by the

DIRECITIONS
1. Press the On/Off Button next to LCD display. A tone will sound as the screen shows , followed by last recorded temperature. After showing the self-test
temperature, the thermometer is now in the testing mode.
2. Position thermometer in desired location (mouth, rectum, or armpit.)
a) Oral Use: Place thermometer under tongue as indicated by "√" position shown in Figure. Close your mouth and breathe
evenly through the nose to prevent the measurement from being influenced by inhaled/exhaled air. Normal temperature
between 35.7°C and 37.3°C (96.3°F and 99.1°F).
b) Rectal Use: Lubricate silver probe tip with petroleum jelly for easy insertion. Gently insert sensor approximately 1cm (less
than 1/2 ") into rectum. Normal temperature between36.2°Cand 37.7°C (97.2°F and 99.9°F).
c) Armpit Use: Wipe armpit dry. Place probe in armpit and keep arm pressed firmly at side.
From a medical viewpoint, this method will always provide inaccurate readings, and should not be used if precise measurements are required.
Normal temperature between 35.2°C and 36.7°C (95.4°F and 98.1°F).
3. The degree sign flashes throughout the testing process. When flashing stops an alarm will beep for approximately 10 seconds. The measured reading will appear on
the LCD simultaneously. The minimum measurement time until the signaling tone (beep) must be maintained without exception. The measurement continues even after
the buzzer notification.
*Note: Normally the buzzes are "Bi-Bi-Bi- Bi-"; Alarm beeps more rapidly when temperature reaches 37.8°C (100.0°F) or higher, and the buzzes are" Bi-Bi-Bi-----

4. To prolong battery life, press the On/Off Button to turn unit off after testing is complete. If no action is taken, the unit will automatically shut off after around 10 minutes.
INSERTING/REPLACING THE BATTERIES
1. Replace battery when the symbol " " in the lower right corner of the LCD display starts flashing. 2. Pull battery cover off. 3. Gently pull out plastic circuit board with
battery chamber approximately 1 cm (slightly less than1/2".) 4. Use pointed object such as a pen to remove old battery. Discard battery lawfully. Replace with new 1.5V DC
button type LR41 or SR41,UCC392, or equivalent. Be sure battery is installed with "+" polarity facing up. 5. Slide battery chamber back into place and attach cover.

CALIBRATION
The thermometer is initially calibrated at the time of manufacture. If the thermometer is used according to the use instruction, periodic readjustment is not required.
However, we recommend checking calibration every two years or whenever clinical accuracy of the thermometer is in question.Set the temperature of the
high-precision water temperature bath to 33.00 °C , 37.00 °C , 42.00 °C . bath Turn on the thermometer and insert into the water bath and then check the laboratory
accuracy of thermometer. Repeat the previous measurement process after it is stable for 10 minutes.

MAINTENANCE
Clean the thermometer probe using a cloth moistened with alcohol or with any type of topic disinfectant before and/or after each use. Any other type of solution can
damage the device. The thermometer body has to be cleaned using a dry cloth. Do not immerse the thermometer in water or other liquids. Never use chemical or
abrasive products. The probe is the most fragile part of the thermometer. Pay utmost care during its cleaning. Do not use alcohol to clean the display. Preserve the
thermometer in a dry and clean place, away from direct sunlight. Do not sterilize or boll the thermometer. Preserve the thermometer carefully In Its standard-supplied
casing. Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the thermometer. Doing so may result In Inaccurate readings. It Is recommended the performance should be checked
every 2 years.
CLEANING AND DISINFECTION
1. Pre-clean the surface of the thermometer probe using potable water or wipe it with a clean, soft cloth dampened with potable water to remove surface dirt;2. Immerse
the thermometer probe completely in high-purity water for at least 1 minute; 3. Gently wipe the thermometer with a dry, clean, soft cloth to remove any residue; 4. Repeat
steps 2 and 3 three times until no dirt is visible on visual inspection after cleaning; 5. Disinfection: After use in the armpit, mouth or rectum-Method A(High level
disinfection): immerse the thermometer probe in 0.55% OPA(Ortho-phthalaldehyde), such as CIDEX OPA, for at least 12 minutes under temperature at 20 °C (68 °F ) ;
Apply before use or after axillary use -Method B (intermediate disinfection): Using a clean soft cloth dipped in 70% Isopropanol, wipe the probe 3 times, at least one
minute for each time. 6. Repeat steps 2 to 4 to remove disinfectant residue; 7. After cleaning and disinfection is complete, check that the product looks normal , then put
the thermometer in its dust cover (if any) and store the thermometer in a cool, dry, clean environment away from high temperatures and corrosive substances.
Precautions:
1. The device must be cleaned and disinfected before and after each use. 2. If oral or rectal measurements must be taken, we strongly recommend advanced
disinfection. 3. For the disinfectants or cleaning agents mentioned above, please follow their user manuals. 4. The water temperature used in all the above processes
should not exceed 45 °C (113 °F ). 5. Do not use benzene, paint thinner, gasoline or other strong solvents to clean the thermometer. 6. Do not attempt to disinfect the
sensing probe (tip) of the thermometer by immersing in 70% Isopropanol, OPA or in hot water (water over 45 °C (113 °F )) for long time. 7. Do not use ultrasound and other
automatic or semi-automatic methods to clean the thermometer. 8. Do not use disinfection methods other than the recommended cleaning and disinfection
procedures, unapproved other disinfection protocols may cause permanent damage to the equipment. 9. During the service life of the product, it can be reused about
3,000 times according to the above cleaning and disinfection methods.

ANLEITUNG
1. Drücken Sic die Taste On/Off neben der LCD-Anzeige. Ein Ton ertönt, wenn der Bildschirm
angczcigt. Nachdem die Temperatur des Selbsttests angezeigt wurde, befindet sich das Thermometer nun im Testmodus.
2. Positionieren Sic das Tlicrmomctcr an der gewünschten Stelle (Mund, Rektum oder Achselhöhle),
a) Orale Anwendung: Legen Sic das Thermometer unter die Zunge, wie in der in Abbildung dargcstclltcn Position "√". Schließen
Sic den Mund und atmen Sie gleichmäßig durch die Nase, um zu verhindern, dass die Messung durch die ein- und ausgeatmete
Luft beeinflusst wird. Normale Temperatur zwischen 35.7°C und 37.3°C (96.3°F und 99.1°F).
b) Rektale Anwendung: Schmieren Sie die silberne Sondenspitze mit etwas Vaseline ein, um das Einführen zu erleichtern. Die Sonde
vorsichtig, ungefähr 1 cm (weniger als 1/2M) in das Rektum einfiihren. Normale Temperatur zwischen 36.2°C und 37.7°C (97.2°F und 99.9°F).
c) Anwendung in der Achselhöhle: Achselhöhle trockcnwischcn. Sonde in der Achselhöhle platzieren und den Arm fest an der Seite gedrückt halten. Aus medizinischer
Sicht wird diese Messmethode stets ungenaue Messwerte liefern und sollte nicht venvendet werden, wenn präzise Messungen erforderlich sind. Normale Temperatur
zwischen 35.20°C und 36.70°C (95.4°F und 98.1°F).
3. Das Grad-Zeichen blinkt während des gesamten Prüfungsprozesses. Wenn das Blinken aufhört, ertönt circa 10 Sekunden lang ein Alarm. Der gemessene Wert erscheint
gleichzeitig auf der LCD-Anzeige. Die Mindcstmcsszcit bis zum Signalton (Piepton) muss unbedingt cingchaltcn werden. Die Messung wird auch nach dem Signalton
fortgesetzt. Um ein besseres Ergebnis bei der Temperatunnessung zu erzielen, ist es angeraten, die Sonde unabhängig vom Signalton ca. 2 Minuten in Mund und Rektum
oder ca. 5 Minuten in der Achselhöhle zu belassen und ein Messintervall von mindestens 30 Sekunden einzuhalten.
*Hinwcis: Normalerweise ist der Signalton "Bi-Bi-Bi- Bi-M; der Alarm ertönt schneller, wenn die Temperatur 37.8°C (I00.0°F) oder höher erreicht, und der Signalton ist
"Bi-Bi-Bi-BiBi-Bi-Bi-Bi Bi-Bi-Bi-Bi".
4. Um die Lebensdauer der Batterie zu verlängern, drücken Sie die Ein/Aus-Taste, um das Thermometer nach Abschluss der Messungen auszuschaltcn. Wenn keine
Maßnahmen ergriffen werden, schaltet sich das Gerät nach etwa 10 Minuten automatisch ab.
INSERTING/REPLACING THE BATTERIES

fomirà sempre letture imprecise e non dovrebbe essere usato se sono si necessitano misurazioni precise. Temperatura normale tra35.2°C e 36.7°C (95.4°F e 98.1°F).
3. Il segno del grado lampeggia dînante tutto il processo di prova. Quando il lampeggiamento si interrompe, viene emesso un segnale acustico per circa 10 secondi. La
lettura misurata apparirà sullo schermo LCD simultaneamente. Il tempo minimo di misurazione fmo al tono di segnalazione (bip) deve essere mantenuto senza
eccezioni. La misurazione continua anche dopo la notifica. Per ottenere un migliore risultato di misurazione della temperatura corporea, si consiglia di tenere la sonda in
bocca e nel retto per circa 2 minuti, o sotto l'ascella per circa 5 minuti, indipendentemente dal segnale acustico, e di mantenere un intervallo di misurazione di almeno
30 secondi.

INSERIMENTO/ SOSTITUZIONE DELLA BATTERIA

CALIBRAZIONE
Il termometro è inizialmente calibrato al momento della produzione. Se il termometro viene utilizzato secondo le istruzioni, non è necessaria una ricalibrazione periodica.
Tuttavia, consigliamo di verificare la calibrazione ogni due anni o quando la precisione clinica del termometro è messa in dubbio. Impostare la temperatura del bagno
termostatico di alta precisione a 33,00℃, 37,00℃, 42,00℃. Accendere il termometro e immergerlo nel bagno termostatico per verificare la precisione del termometro in
laboratorio. Ripetere il processo di misurazione dopo che il termometro è stato stabile per 10 minuti.

pulire il display. Conservare il termometro in un luogo asciutto e pulito, lontano dalla luce diretta del sole. Non sterlllzzara o bolllre II termometro. Conservare II

PULIZIA E DISINFEZIONE
1. Pulire preliminarmente la superficie della sonda del termometro con acqua potabile o strofinarla con un panno pulito e morbido inumidito con acqua potabile per
rimuovere lo sporco superficiale; 2. Immergere completamente la sonda del termometro in acqua ad alta purezza per almeno 1 minuto; 3. Strofinare delicatamente il
termometro con un panno asciutto, pulito e morbido per rimuovere eventuali residui; 4. Ripetere i passaggi 2 e 3 tre volte fino a quando nessuna sporcizia è visibile
all'ispezione visiva dopo la pulizia; 5. Disinfezione:Dopo l'uso nell'ascella, nella bocca o nel retto -Metodo A (Disinfezione ad alto livello): immergere la sonda del
termometro in 0,55% OPA (Orto-ftalaldeide), come CIDEX OPA, per almeno 12 minuti a una temperatura di 20°C (68°F); Applicare prima dell'uso o dopo l'uso ascellare
-Metodo B (Disinfezione intermedia): utilizzare un panno pulito e morbido imbevuto di alcool isopropilico al 70%, strofinare la sonda 3 volte, almeno un minuto per volta.
6. Ripetere i passaggi 2 a 4 per rimuovere i residui di disinfettante;7. Dopo aver completato la pulizia e la disinfezione, verificare che il prodotto sembri normale, quindi
