Connecting the light to the mains
power / Charging the battery
You can operate the light directly via a USB port or via
the mains power with a mains adapter (not included in
delivery). This charges the built­in rechargeable battery
at the same time. Alternatively, you can also operate
the light wirelessly (without a mains adapter) when the
battery is charged.
To avoid damage to the rechargeable battery, it is only
half­charged upon purchase. If you would like to use
the light in battery operation mode, charge the battery
fully before using it for the first time.
M Use the USB charging cable provided to connect
the light to a USB port on your computer or to
a USB mains adapter (not included in delivery)
as illustrated. The charging process will start
automatically. The indicator light will turn red.
Charge the battery until the indicator light goes
out.
Charging time for a flat battery is approx.
6­8 hours.
Operating time with a fully charged battery
approx. 15 hours (reading light),
approx. 30 hours (night light),
approx. 30 hours (glimmer feature).

Switching the light on and off
M Press the button on the side of the light...
1x = to switch to the reading light.
2x = to switch to the night light (the light will
switch off automatically after 60 minutes).
3x = to switch to the glimmer feature.
4x = to switch the light off.
Disposal
Devices marked with this symbol must not
be disposed of along with normal household
waste! You are legally obliged to dispose of

local authorities.
Single-use batteries and rechargeable
batteries must not be disposed of along
with household waste! You are legally
obliged to dispose of all flat batteries at
a local authority collection point or to return them
to a battery retailer.
Caution! This device contains a rechargeable battery
that, for safety reasons, is firmly built into the device
and cannot be removed without destroying the casing.
Improper disassembly leads to safety hazards. For this
reason, take the device intact to a collection point where
the device and battery will be disposed of properly.
Use
