Setting Grinding/Welding

For welding move the slide switch to the position Welding and for grinding
work move the switch to Grinding.

Using

1. Turn the shade adjusting knob (8) to adjust the shade level according to
the application (see shade guide table). Prior to use the welding helmet,
check the proper function of the auto-darkening filer cartridge on a light
source; e. g. strike a match or a cigarette lighter. Never undertake welding
in direct sunlight!
2. Adjust the sensitivity by turning the sensitivity scale knob (4) from. Select
Low, High or move the knob to the middle.

Replacing the Front Cover Lens

Take care that the front cover lens is
clean at every
immediately if there are any cracks or
scratches.
1. For changing the front cover lens
put a finger or a blunt object into
the notch in the middle and lift up
the lens from the side fasteners.
2. To reset the new lens, hook it into
one of the side fasteners. Press
the slightly inwards curved lens
into the opposite fasteners until it
locks visibly and audibly.

Replacing the Inside Cover Lens

Make sure, that the inside cover lens is also clean at every time and has no
uneven spots. Immediately change the inside cover lens if damaged.
1. To replace the inside cover lens put a blunt object into the notch in the
middle and lift up the lens as described in the chapter "Replacing the Front
Cover Lens".
2. To reset hook the lens first into one of the fasteners. Press the lens to the
bottom until it locks.
