operation of your new One Touch Can Opener.

USING THE CAN OPENER

ENGLISH INSTRUCTIONS
To install (and remove) batteries into the battery
compartment slide off the back cover by holding the unit
with the bottom facing up and the narrow end toward
you. Place each thumb either side of the magnet and pull
toward you. The battery cover will release for easy
removal. Install the batteries (according to the polarity
(+/-). (See Fig.1) instruction) Replace the bottom cover
after the batteries have been installed. Never mix old and
new batteries or batteries of different types.
Note: the opener will automatically stop after 25s
operating.
1. Place can on a stable flat surface.
2. Place the opener on top of the can with the can rim
between the gear and the cutter (See Fig.2).
Note: The cutter will not operate unless it is
positioned correctly on the rim of the can.
3. Press and hold the black start button for 4 seconds and let
go of the opener (See Fig.3), it will open the can and stop
when finished (see Fig 4)
4. Some cans, especially larger cans, require step 4 to be
performed more than once. If the opener stops before the
can is opened, rotate the can opener backwards about 1.3
cm then repeat step 4 as many times as necessary to open
the can.
5. When finished, lift the opener off the can and carefully
remove the lid from the magnet and discard (See Fig.5).
ALWAYS USE ALKALINE BATTERIES.
DO NOT USE LITHIUM BATTERIES.
