1. Instructions
This instruction manual is intended to familiarize you with the
operation of the product.
- Do not use the product until you have read the instructions for use.
- Keep these instructions for the entire life of the product.
- Disconnect the luminaire before handling or using it.
2. Safety Instructions
- Do not use the product if the cable is defective or damaged.
- Do not place near sources of heat above 60°C (140°F).
- Keep out of the reach of children.
- Handle the product with care. A blow, shock, or fall, even from a low
height, may damage it.
- Never open the unit, otherwise all warranties will be void.
- Use the product only as described in the manual. Improper use may
cause damage to the product or its environment.
- Do not exceed the permitted voltage.
- Do not change the batteries, non-replaceable battery. Recycle the
battery properly.
- If you leave the unit unused or unattended for an extended period of
time, turn it off.
- The light source of this fixture is not replaceable. It may only
be repaired by authorised personnel. Please contact the service
department.
3. Appropriate use
A. General
This product is designed for outdoor use.
The built-in battery is charged by the solar cell inside the product and/
or by USB cable. The light source is made up of LEDs which provide
high brightness with low power consumption.
Charging time is about 6-8 hours, for an autonomy of 8-12hours
A2.Installation - Use
Fully charge your device before using it for the first time.
To turn your device on or off, press and hold the ON/OFF button.
B. Solar power
The solar lighting is designed for outdoor use.
- Do not place the solar lamp in the shade.
- Install the sun lamp in direct sunlight.
- The bollard is designed to operate in the dark. If the bollard is installed
too close to another light source, it will not function properly.
C. First use
For safety reasons the products are sold with the batteries uncharged.
For the first use, please put the product under direct sunlight for a
whole day.
D. Cleaning the solar panel
It is important that the solar panel remains clean and unobstructed,
otherwise the battery will not be able to recharge properly and
will not produce light. This can also shorten the life of the battery.
Clean regularly with a damp cloth or paper towel. Check the battery
periodically throughout the year, especially after the winter period.
Never clean with detergent and/or an abrasive cloth.
E. Storage
When the product is not used for a long period of time, the solar lamp
must be fully discharged. For the battery to work properly, the lamp
must be charged once a month.
F. Charging via USB
Connect the supplied USB cable to the USB-C port of your device, then
to the USB port of a powered-on computer or USB charger. Respect
the authorized voltage. The control light glows red during the charging
process. It turns green as soon as the battery is fully charged.
While charging, the device's lamp function (light) is temporarily
suspended.
4. Warranty
For warranty conditions, please contact your dealer. Please also note
the general terms and conditions of sale.
- We accept no liability for damage to property or personal injury
resulting from improper handling or non-observance of the safety
instructions.
- In the event of damage resulting from non-observance of these
operating instructions, the warranty becomes null and void.
- For reasons of safety and EC type approval, it is not permitted to
convert and/or modify the string on your own initiative.
