In the event of a fault or gas leak, close the gas cylinder valve immediately.
Before each change of location, the Click-In cooktop must be switched off, the gas
cylinder valve closed and the gas cylinder unscrewed from the gas hose to protect the
pressure reducer and the hose line.
Close the gas supply to the gas cylinder after use.
The lid of the Universal Frame must always be open when igniting the Click-In cooktop.
Clean the Click-In cooktop regularly to remove grease residues and prevent a grease fire.
Only use the Click-In cooktop after it has been properly assembled.
The Click-In cooktop may only be used with original accessories.
Allow the Click-In cooktop to cool down completely before attaching or removing other
accessories and before cleaning it.

CONNECTING THE GAS SYSTEM

Risk of fire and explosion
This Click-In cooktop may only be operated with a pressure reducer. The enclosed
pressure reducer is correctly set at the factory for operation with liquid gas.
If the gas hose needs to be replaced, the gas hose must be replaced with the GRANT
Quick Release (female) & gas hose (946571).
Make sure that there is no ignition source, open fire or similar in the vicinity when
replacing the gas cylinder.
Seek advice from a specialist retailer when buying or renting a gas cylinder.
Connect the Click-In cooktop as described in these instructions. Make sure that the gas
hose is not kinked or chafed.
Carry out the leak test procedure described in these operating instructions (see
CONNECTING THE GAS CYLINDER) before using the Click-In cooktop. Always carry
out a leak test.
CLICK-IN COOKTOP MAINTENANCE
Risk of fire and explosion
Repairs and maintenance on the gas system may only be carried out by authorized
specialists. Do not make any changes to the Click-In cooktop or pressure reducer.
Replace the pressure reducer and hose after 10 years at the latest, even if there is no
visible external damage.
A regular routine inspection of the gas system should be carried out at least once a
year to detect any wear, deterioration or damage that could cause gas to escape.
If the gas hose needs to be replaced, the gas hose must be replaced with the GRANT
Quick Release (female) & Gas Hose (946571).
MEASURES IN THE EVENT OF A GAS SMELL
Close the gas supply, extinguish all open flames and open the lid.
If the smell of gas persists, keep away from the Click-In cooktop and inform your gas
supplier or the fire department.
Carry out a leak test as described in these instructions.

FIRE-FIGHTING MEASURES
Risk of fire and explosion
Get bystanders to safety! If possible, close the valve on the gas cylinder.
Cool the gas cylinder with water. Pay attention to your safety. Spontaneous, explosive
re-ignition is possible.
In the event of fire, remove filled pressurized gas cylinders from the area at risk of fire.
If this is not possible, keep the pressurized gas containers from heating up too much by
spraying them with water or similar suitable agents from a protected position.
If a grease fire breaks out, try to switch off the burners. Close the lid until the fire is
extinguished.
ATTENTION: Never try to extinguish an oil or grease fire with water. Always use the
fire extinguishing agents intended for this purpose, such as grease fire extinguishers
and/or fire blankets. Ask a specialist retailer separately.
Keep your distance from the source of the fire and inform the fire department
immediately.
TRANSPORTATION INSTRUCTIONS
Risk of fire and explosion
If possible, do not transport the gas cylinder in vehicles whose load compartment is not
separated from the driver's cab. The driver must be aware of the potential dangers of
the load and must know what to do in the event of an accident or emergency.
Transport the gas cylinder upright and in such a way that it is secured against falling
over and slipping.
Make sure that the gas cylinder valve is closed and tight.

STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS

Risk of fire and explosion
Keep the gas cylinder out of the reach of children.
Keep the gas cylinder away from oxidizing gases and other flammable substances.
Escaping liquid gas is heavier than air and will sink to the ground. Do not store the gas
cylinder indoors, below ground level (e.g. in the cellar, underground garage, etc.) or in
unventilated places where escaping gas could collect.
Protect the gas cylinder from direct sunlight and other sources of heat. Store the gas
cylinder at less than 50 °C in a well-ventilated, shady place and protected from the
weather.
Store the gas cylinder upright and secured against falling over.
Do not store any spare/additional or unconnected gas cylinders under or near the
Click-In cooktop.
The storage instructions also apply to empty gas cylinders. These still contain a
residual quantity of liquid gas.
When the Click-In cooktop is not in use, the gas cylinder must be disconnected.
Replace the protective cap on the gas cylinder after it has been disconnected from the
Click-In cooktop.
