1.5 TRANSPORTATION
AND INSTALLATION
The wood-splitter, with its appropriate ac-
cessories, is supplied in sturdy cardboard
boxes suitable for transportation and stor-
age. It is advisable not to stack weights or
other boxes on top of it during storage.
Before installation, carefully read this hand-
book and in particular the safety standards
described in paragraph 1.6.

Pay attention to the danger sign, where
given in this handbook, it indicates a poten-
tial danger.
For shipping or packaging requirements the
wood-splitter is supplied mounted, except
for:
- frame (item 7 Fig. 1)
- mobile cylinder (item 2 Fig. 1)
which, while being connected to the ma-
chine, must be positioned correctly before
putting the machine into operation.
The phases to follow to install the machine
correctly are given and illustrated below:
