Pull out the mains plug of the door control.

Mount the RSE lndustrial - T on the door leaf. Preferably use the side
on which the control unit is mounted. Use the four supplied screws 
this purpose. Mount the auxiliary socket (not included in the scope of deliv-
ery) on the other side of the door leaf accordingly.

Connect the connection cable between RSE lndustrial - T and the aux-
iliary socket to

Optical closing edge safety device OSE (optional): Connect the receiver
or transmitter of the optical closing edge safety device directly to the
RSE lndustrial - T. The other connector of the optical closing edge safety
device is connected to the auxiliary socket. Use connections 
RSE lndustrial - T to connect the optical closing edge safety device.

Selection of slack rope switches with/without loop resistance: If slack
rope switches with 1.5 k loop resistance are used, turn switch 
erwise turn it OFF. If slack rope switches without loop resistance are used,
lay the cable on the door leaf so that it is protected against mechanical
damage. Connect one slack rope switch directly to the RSE Industrial - T.
Connect the other slack rope switch to the auxiliary socket. The slack rope

Electrical closing edge safety device (optional): Connect the 8k2 closing
edge safety device to 
of the RSE lndustrial - T.

Plug the RSE Industrial - R onto J14 of the control unit and fix it with
the two screws

The RSE lndustrial - T is powered by a 3.6 V lithium battery. Battery life
depends on temperature, choice of closing edge system (OSE/8k2) and fre-
quency of door use. Before inserting the battery, it must first be depassi-
vated. Prolonged storage causes an internal passivation layer to build up.
This layer must be removed before use.
Tap the battery 
lightly on the floor five times and then insert it in the

RSE lndustrial - T. Make sure the polarity is correct.

Plug the mains plug of the control unit back in.

Reset
The RSE lndustrial - Set A can be reset by the door control. To reset, read
the instructions for your door control.
Troubleshooting

In case of an error, the drive control displays a detailed error code (see the
instructions for the door control).
A cyclical beep on the RSE lndustrial - R signals that the battery 
RSE lndustrial - T is empty.
Maintenance
The battery should be changed as part of the annual door maintenance.
To change the battery, remove the cover of the RSE Industrial - T and re-
place the battery 
with a new one. Make sure the polarity is correct (see

). Check that the new battery has the same temperature range.

Disassembly
Disassemble the system in reverse order.
Disposal
Dispose of packaging material in an environmentally friendly way and in
accordance with the applicable local disposal regulations.

In Germany, the obligation of distributors applies to take back WEEE free of
charge according to section 17 paragraph 1 and 2 of the Electrical and Elec-
tronic Equipment Act (ElektroG).
In the European Union, batteries and accumulators must not be
treated as domestic waste, but must be disposed of professionally
in accordance with directive 2006/66/EC of the European Parlia-
ment and of the Council of 6 September 2006 on batteries and accumula-
tors. Please dispose of batteries and accumulators according to the rele-
vant legal requirements.
UK (The following applies for the United Kingdom)
According to Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulations 2013
(SI 2013/3113) (as amended) and the Waste Batteries and Accumulators
Regulations 2009 (SI 2009/890) (as amended), devices that are no longer
usable must be collected separately and disposed of in an environmentally
friendly manner.
