In cross-ventilation mode (without heat reco-
very), the ventilation units work permanently
in one direction in supply air or exhaust air
mode.
If just one LD 30 BO unit is connected to the
LDS 45 O control, pure exhaust air mode
(press "Ventilation level" button for more than
2 sec.) is possible. In this case, the pressure
must be compensated via outside air ope-
nings (ALDs).
Both fans then switch to exhaust air (no heat
recovery).
If a humidity, CO
or air quality sensor
2
(VOC) is connected to a room air control,
demand-driven automatic operation with
sensor control can be manually activated.
Depending on the sensor values measured
(H, CO

is gradually adjusted. The set operating mode
is retained.
LD 30 BK/RC
The LD 30 BK unit works like the LD 30 BO
described above, but has the following addi-
tional functions:
The LD 30 BK has an integrated humidity
sensor as standard. The internal sensor's
value is always used for the humidity mea-
surement. Measurements from other
sensors connected to the LDS 45 K are not
taken into account.

LD 30 RC
Service-mode
The LD 30 BK/RC has 2 operating modes
Automatic operation (regulation) or system
operation (exceeding of value limit).
The operating mode appropriate for your
LD 30 BK can be selected and set via the
commissioning software. For LD 30 RC the
setting is made in service mode.

LDS 45 O/LDS 45 K room air control
i
Combinations of LDS 45 O and
LD 30 BK are not permitted.
Each LDS 45 O can control up to 6 fans,
for example 6x LD 45 units or 3x LD 30
BO units. A mixture of systems on one
LDS 45 O control is not permitted.
Each LDS 45 K can control up to 6 fans,
for example 6x LD 45, 3x LD 30 BO/BK
or a mixture of LD 30 BK and LD 45 units.
All settings are undertaken and unit
statuses displayed on the LDS. LDS 45 K
with commissioning software.
Sensors
Wired sensors are connected to an LDS
45 O
or LDS 45 K control. Assignment: Per
control, max. 1 internal sensor and 3
external sensors. The sensors (internal/
external) can only be plugged/taught-in
on the master LDS.
Up to 8 wireless sensors can be taught-
in on one LD 45 RC master. The user
is free to select the assignment. For
possible sensor types

Radio system from LD 45 RC / LD 30
RC units
With radio-controlled systems, associated
LD 45 unit pairs work in master-slave
mode.
Slave units (RC ventilation units, radio
sensors, radio switches etc.) are taught-in
on the master unit.
The master unit is then responsible for
hand-
ling with the slave unit
Service mode
Mode intended for the specialist installer
to set and set up the unit functions and to
register wired sensors
instructions.
