5. Button functions of cover

Button UP 
A manual operation of the shutter is carried out by using
the buttons UP  and DOWN  on the cover.
The shift in the motor's movement direction takes place
after a short shifting time! The outputs of the shutter switch
are interlocked.

External inputs are configured as switch-overrides, i.e. the
shutter switch will not switch in automatic operation. Wind
and dawn sensors, timers or buttons can be installed as
extensions.
The shift in the motor's movement direction takes place
after a short shifting time! The outputs of the shutter switch
are interlocked. If a signal is connected to an external in-
put, the LED flashes red. If the signal lasts for longer than
120 sec, the LED shows a permanent red light.
Important notes!
Signal on input external DOWN :
The shutter or blind will travel DOWN as long as a signal
is present. Once the shutter or blind is fully in the down
position, the signal no longer has any functional effect.
Activating the UP  or DOWN  button on the unit will
cause the shutter or blind to stop.
Signal on input external UP :
A signal on external UP  has the highest priority. The
shutter or blind will then travel UP automatically.

If the shutter is going DOWN automatically, it will be
stopped. A longer signal (ca. 5s) will cause the shutter or
blind to travel UP. (important for wind alarm).
Possible applications:
Wind alarm, maintenance switch, central UP.
6.1 Button as extension
The operation of the shutter / blind is carried out manually
by using the buttons UP and DOWN of the extension switch.

Important Note!
After programming the switching times, the pro-

switching time is avoided!

9. Troubleshooting & remedies

9.1 New system or existing system

• Check power supply and automatic circuit breaker
(electrician only).
• Check connected motor and connection cables
(electrician only).
• Delete programming or reprogramming.

9.2 Motor move in the wrong direction

• Swap the wires on the "Motor " and "Motor " outputs
(electrician only)..
• Swap the wires on the "Extern " and "Extern " inputs
(electrician only)..
9.3 Motor does not move
• LED flashes green: device is in party mode (see 7d).
• LED flashes red: suspension of signal at the external
input (cover installed incorrectly, button pressed perma-
nently, permanent signal at external input).
• Thermal protection of the motor is activated, (wait shortly)
• Replace defective motor

• Replace defective shutter switch
