SATEL
The converter is used to connect the RS-232 port of the ETHM-1 Plus module to the RS-232 (TTL) port of the
PERFECTA 64 M / VERSA control panel. It enables remote programming and updating the control panel
firmware via Ethernet.
Features

Cable with the PIN5 connector for connecting to the RS-232 port of the ETHM-1 Plus module.

Cable with the PIN3 connector for connecting to the RS-232 (TTL) port of the PERFECTA 64 M control
panel.
•
Cable with the RJ connector for connecting to the RS-232 (TTL) port of the VERSA control panel.
•
LED indicators.
•
Screw terminals for connecting a +12 VDC power supply.
The converter requires a +12 VDC power supply if it is connected to the PERFECTA 64 M control panel.

LED indicators
[green] – ON – power is present / flashing – data transmission in progress.
[green] – flashing – data transmission in progress.
[red] – ON – power is present.
Terminals
COM – common ground.
+12V – 12 VDC power input.
Connecting
PERFECTA 64 M control panel
1. Connect the cable with the PIN5 connector to the ETHM-1 Plus module.
2. Connect the cable with the PIN3 connector to the PERFECTA 64 M control panel.
3. Connect the power wires to the + and - terminals of the converter (Fig. 2).
VERSA control panel
1. Connect the cable with the PIN5 connector to the ETHM-1 Plus module.
2. Connect the cable with the RJ connector to the VERSA control panel.
