tenance of this unit should only be carried out by qualified

Function
The RCW-M32 wireless receiver is used to communicate with up to 32
wireless sensors and detectors. It communicates via Modbus with any
Modbus master controller. The receiver is easily configured either via its
menu system or via Modbus.

Installation
Note! Ensure that the incoming signal is strong enough
for full wireless functionality. The signal range can be af-
fected by the surroundings, such as thick walls or metal
doors. In some cases it might not be suitable to use wire-
less communication.
1. Open and lift the lid to access the terminals. See section Installation -
Opening and Closing lid.
2. Connect the receiver to the master controller via the RS485
terminal.
3. Connect the receiver to the supply voltage. The display will beep
once and two small LED lights will start blinking on the display.
4. Mount the receiver on any flat surface. If it is installed in a humid
environment, vertical mounting is recommended.
When the receiver is powered on it will automatically forward signals
received from the paired sensors and detectors to the controller.

1. Unscrew the lid securing screw using a PZ1 (Pozi) screwdriver.
Note! The lid securing screw is not mounted at delivery
but packed separately.
2. Press the lid snap gently inwards with a screwdriver, or similar.

3. Lift the lid by hand.
Removing the lid
Note! The lid can only be removed from the casing when
in position (A), as shown below. This means that the lid
cannot be removed when the transmitter is mounted on-
to a flat surface that extends above the casing.
