Function buttons on the front of the unit:
• For controlling the heating intensity.
• Each time the button is pressed, the heat setting increases by one level. It
then switches off the next time it is pressed and starts again at heat setting 1.
L1 > L2 > L3 > L4 > OFF > L1 > L2 >...
• Standby mode:
When this symbol "--" is displayed, the device is in idle mode and can be
reactivated and used immediately if required. Caution: The heater is not
disconnected from the power supply when it is in standby. To disconnect,
press the main switch.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Maintenance
It is recommended that the unit be serviced regularly according to the following
points to ensure efficient and long service life. The unit must not be opened by
unauthorised persons! If there is something wrong, please contact your dealer.
• Once a month a check should be carried out to see whether there is any
possible contamination of the reflector (reflection mirror) and the carbon
fibre tubes.
• If the infrared radiator is dirty, a careful cleaning should be carried out. See
point Cleaning.
• The above checks are of course always dependent on how much soiling is
present at the respective location of the unit.
• The reflector and the carbon tube should also be checked visually for de-
formation or damage. In case of conspicuous deformations or broken glass,
please contact your dealer to take the necessary steps.
