Do not mix new and used batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard and/or rechargeable batteries.
Note: When the display unit is powered by a battery only, the backlight is turned off to conserve the
battery. Press the SNZ/LIGHT button to turn on the backlight for 10 seconds.
Setting up the weather station
Place it in a dry place that is free of dirt and dust. It should rest on a flat, stable surface.
Important instructions
To ensure accurate temperature measurement, place the weather station and outdoor probe out of
direct sunlight and away from any heat sources or ventilation. They must be within 60 metres of each
other.
To maximize wireless range, place devices away from large metal objects, thick walls, metal surfaces, or
other objects that may limit wireless communication.
To avoid interference, place them at least 2.5 m away from electronic devices (television, computer,
microwave, radio, etc.).
Placement of the external probe
The probe should be placed outdoors to detect weather conditions. It is water-resistant and designed
for outdoor use. However, to avoid damaging it, place the probe in a place protected from weather
events and direct sun. The best location is 1.20m to 2.40m above the ground, in the shade and in a place
where there is good air circulation.
