Before using your kettle for the first time, be sure to:
• Unpack the box carefully, retaining all packaging materials until
you are certain everything is present and in working order.
• Do not discard any packaging until all accessories have been
located. Inspect the product before use. Ensure the appliance
cord and plug are undamaged and suitable for operation.
• Do not immerse the kettle base in water or any other liquid.
• Carefully clean the exterior and food contact surfaces with a
warm, soft, damp cloth to remove any residues.
• If you are using the kettle for the first time, it is recommended
that you clean your kettle before use by boiling a full kettle of
water twice and then discarding the water.
• Note: The maximum capacity of the kettle is 1.7 litres.
Using Your Kettle:
• Place the kettle on a flat surface.
• To fill the kettle, remove it from the power base and open the lid
by pressing the lid release button. Fill the kettle with the desired
amount of water, making sure it is between the Min and Max level
indicators. Do not overfill, as boiling water may spill from the
spout.
• Close the lid securely before plugging the kettle into the power
outlet.
• Position the kettle back onto the power base.
• Plug the kettle into a power outlet and press the switch down. The
indicator light will illuminate, signaling that the kettle is heating.
The kettle will automatically switch off once the water has boiled.
• If you need to re-boil, wait 30 seconds before pressing the switch
again.
• You can stop the boiling process at any time by lifting the switch
or removing the kettle from the power base.
