OTHER PINBALL SOFTWARE - DIP SWITCHES
Your "Virtual Pinball" will work with almost all pinball games which are controlled via the
keyboard.
Your pinball machine has its own microprocessor which
mimics
6 keys on the
keyboard.
You
can set the key combination using the dip switches on the back of the pinball machine (see
table).
Always install the pinball software first and check
that
the game works with just the
keyboard.
If
the game does not work, consult the software manual. When the game is
working, note which keys
it
uses.
Look in the dip switch table to locate the key combination used and see which dip switches
must be up and which down
.
Compare the settings of the game with the settings on the
machine. If your game uses standard settings (top
line
of the table) you can start playing
straight away.
If the game uses a different key combination you can do one of two things:
I
It is easiest to change the game settings so that the game uses the standard settings of
your pinball machine. You do not then have to keep resetting the dip switches when you
want to
play
a
different
pinball
game.
2. It is also possible to set the dip switches to the key combination used by the
game.
Note which games work with which dip switch
settings.
Space has been left for this in the
table.
If
you have a game for which you cannot change the key combinations and the key
combination is not shown in the
table,
choose the combination which most closely matches
that of your game so that you can operate the flippers in any
event.
Use a match or a ballpoint to change the settings of the dip switches. This requires no force.
Never set the switches in a central position but always fully up or fully
down.
