If you have other SPL devices with AMP CTL inputs or outputs, you can switch all
devices together between operating and standby mode. To do this, connect the AMP
CTL-IN of the Crossover Mk2 to the AMP CTL-OUT of the SPL preamplifier and the AMP
CTL-OUT of the Crossover Mk2 to the AMP CTL-IN of the SPL power amplifiers using a
mini-jack cable.
The Standby switch has to be set to ON in order to control the Crossover Standby via AMP CTL.
Mini jack cable not included in the scope of delivery.

CAUTION: Do not use AMP CTL to turn an SPL Performer s800 power amplifier on or off, when its serial number is lower
than: Black 00273, Silver 00104, Red 00130
You can also use a different 12 V control. If a switching voltage of 12 volts DC is present
at the AMP CTL connection, the device is in operation. As soon as the switching
voltage of 12 volts DC is switched off, the device switches to stand-by mode.
Use a mini jack cable with the assignment tip = plus and sleeve = minus.
Power up

Turn down the volume of the connected preamplifier.

Switch on mains switch on the back of the Crossover Mk2 (On = I).
LED next to the stand-by switch on the front now dimly lights up red.
Operation

Switch the Crossover from standby into operation by setting the
standby switch to ON.
The red LED next to the standby switch now lights up strongly.
Standby

Switch the Crossover Mk2 into standby by setting the standby switch to
( = Standby).
If the Crossover Mk2 is connected via AMP CTL input with an SPL device supporting

AMP CTL output(s), the Crossover is triggered between standby and operation
together with the SPL device.
The Standby switch has to be set to ON in order to control the Crossover Mk2 Standby via AMP CTL.
