11.
If you are going to make more sandwiches, close the lid so that
it warms up to the optimum temperature indicated by the
green ready light when it goes out.
12.
After finishing toasting the sandwiches, remove the appliance
plug from the mains socket and leave the toaster open until it
cools down.
13.
After the toaster has cooled down, clean it.
Additional advice
If the sandwich filling is moist or contains a lot of moisture
(tomatoes, mushrooms), the bread may soften – then use thicker
slices of bread with a more compact structure (whole meal,
graham, etc.).
When roasting sandwiches with sweet filling, gently sprinkle the
surface of the sandwiches with powdered sugar or other fine sugar,
which will make the crust more crispy.
5. Cleaning the device
WARNING! The appliance cannot be immersed in water or
washed under running water!
Cleaning can only take place when the device is turned off,
cooled down and the power supply is not connected.
Do not use any chemical, alkaline, abrasive or disinfectant
for cleaning, as they may adversely affect the components
of the device.
The hobs cannot be disassembled for cleaning.
The surface of the hobs must be cleaned after each use of the
appliance. This will help you avoid the build-up of food debris. After
the hobs have cooled down, they can be cleaned using a wooden,
plastic or silicone spatula for Teflon surfaces, a paper towel or a soft
cloth.
