4. Use of the device

PREPARATION FOR THE FIRST USE
Before cleaning the appliance, make sure that your hands
are dry and the appliance is to cool. Be sure to disconnect it
from the power grid.
Be careful that water does not enter the inside of the device
housing! This is an electrical appliance and water can
cause a short circuit that can damage the appliance or cause an
electric shock.
Remove the device from the packaging. Check that none of the
components are damaged. Wash the hobs with a lightly dampened
soft cloth. Wipe them with a dry soft cloth or paper towel.
USING THE DEVICE
Before cleaning the appliance, make sure that your hands
are dry and the appliance is to cool. Be sure to disconnect it
from the power grid.
Do not use too much force to close the lid. If it does not want
to close, adjust the cover more precisely.
Ensure that the cable is routed in such a way that it cannot
be damaged, cut, knocked down or pulled, which could
cause damage to the device or injury to the user or bystanders.
The device can only be connected to a mains socket
equipped with a protective pin.
If you notice that the housing, base, cord, or power plug is
damaged, do not turn on the device.
Do not toast products other than sandwiches, as you may
damage the hobs and the toasting effect may deviate from
what is expected.
When toasting sandwiches with the sides of the appliance,
hot water vapour may come out.
