The operating instructions provide important information
on handling the appliance. The operating instructions must
be read carefully before starting any work! It is an integral
part of the product and must be kept in the immediate
vicinity of the appliance, accessible and carefully stored at
all times. If you sell or pass on this product, it is essential
that you also hand over these instructions. For safety
and authorisation reasons, it is not permitted to convert
and/or modify this appliance or use it in a manner that
is not appropriate. The prerequisite for safe working
is compliance with the specified safety and handling
instructions. It must be checked whether the place of use
is suitable and the local accident prevention regulations
and general safety regulations applicable at the place of
use of the device must be observed. The device is only
intended for use on your own private property and for
use in unoccupied rooms or outdoors at an appropriate
distance from dwellings. If the device is installed outdoors,
there is a risk that neighbours may be disturbed by audible
music tones. It is therefore advisable to place it more
than 20 m away from a location where your neighbours
could be disturbed if there is no obstacle separating you.
Do not place the device behind any obstacles (e.g. wall).
Protection class of device is IP44. Clean the appliance with
a damp cloth if it is dirty. Do not use harsh cleaning agents
or solvents.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

This appliance is not intended for use by children under
8 years of age, but may be used by older children under
supervision. Appliances can be used by persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack
of experience and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance
in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children must not play with the appliance.
This device contains a built-in battery that cannot be
replaced. If the charging cable is damaged, it must be
replaced with a new cable. Only charge the appliance with
the voltage intended for it: 5 Volt DC. Never use the device
for purposes other than those described in these operating
instructions. In particular, make sure that the device is
never exposed to people or pets at close range (less than 1
metre) for long periods of time.
Never hold the device directly to your ear. Humans cannot
hear frequencies > 20 kHz, but there is a high sound
pressure level that can strain the ear over a longer period
of time. Ultrasonic bounces off smooth surfaces, but is
absorbed by soft materials such as carpets or curtains.
Ultrasound cannot penetrate walls or ceilings.
The symbol of the "crossed-out wheelie bin" on
an article or on packaging indicates that the
article and its packing cannot be disposed of in
normal household waste. The article must be taken to an
appropriate collecting point for the return and recycling of
old electrical and electronic devices. Batteries have to be
removed and disposed of separately. For more precise
information on disposing of this device, please contact
your local authority, the waste disposal service in your
region or the specialist retailer from whom you bought this
device.
TECHNICAL FEATURES
OPERATION
To turn on the raccoon repellent ultrasonic press the On/Off
switch. The GREEN LED on top will flasha for 30 seconds.
Thanks to photometric sensor device works only at night
(illuminance < 4 LUX) and not during the day. The device
will cycle through the frequencies every 210 seconds. The
sound frequencies vary between 1-30 kHz at a noise level
of 90-97 dB. When the battery is low the RED LED will
flash. The unit will shut down in 15 hours if not charged.
CHARGING
To charge the battery remove the unit from the mounting
base by turning it counter clockwise. Turn the unit over and
pull up the cover to the charging port. Insert the USB-C
plug (1.5 m USB cable included) into the charging port.
Insert the standard USB plug into a 5 Volt charging port. The
BLUE LED on the top of the device will flash. A full charge
may take 4-5 hours. When the battery is fully charged
the LED will glow blue continuously. Close the charging
port again with the cover after the charging process. The
Lithium-lon Polymer Battery (3.7 V, 1500 mAh) can last 40
days after a full charge.

ASSEMBLY AND INSTALLATION

The raccoon repellent emits ultrasonic waves and audible
sounds in a radius of 3 to 4 m around the device, which
corresponds to a protected area of around 40 m². The
device repels racoons, rats, martens and more, but safe
for animals, because it does not harm animals. Animals are
disturbed by the ultrasound and panicked by the sounds
of the device, so that they sense a permanent danger that
causes them to hide. They are exhausted by the constant
stress and leave the place.
