FOR YOUR SAFETY - IF YOU SMELL GAS:
• If there is a leak on your appliance (smell of gas), take
it outside immediately into a well- ventilated, flame
free location where the leak may be detected and
stopped.
• Do not attempt to light appliance.
• Extinguish all open flames.
• Disconnect cartridge.
• Move to a well-ventilated place and call for service.
• If you wish to check for leaks on your appliance do
it outside. Do not try to detect leaks using a flame,
use soapy water. Read instructions under "HOW TO
CHECK FOR LEAKS WITH SOAPY WATER".
• If odour persists, contact the dealer or Robens
Customer Service (contact details on the last page)
and stop using the appliance immediately.
CHANGING OR DISCONNECTING GAS CARTRIDGE:
• Always disconnect the gas cartridge from the
appliance when not in use.
• The cartridge can be dis- or reconnected even if some
gas remains.
• Turn shut-off valve (8) fully clockwise and both knobs
(3+4) fully clockwise."
• The gas cartridge shall be changed in a well-ventilated
location, preferably outside, away from any sources
of ignition, such as naked flames, pilots, electric fires
and away from other people.
• Unscrew cartridge from shut-off valve (8). Be careful
as the appliance could be hot.
• Check the contents of a cartridge by shaking it and
listening for the sound of liquid gas.

• Dispose of the cartridge as per instructions printed on
the cartridge.
• To ensure a safe connection of a new gas cartridge to
your appliance please read the sections 'ASSEMBLY'
and 'OPERATION' .
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE:
• Always allow the appliance to cool completely before
cleaning or maintenance.
• Do not obstruct ventilation or combustion air around
appliance
• Never leave the appliance unattended when hot or in
use.
• Do not modify the appliance.
• CAUTION: Accessible parts may become very hot.
Keep young children away at all times.
• Keep the appliance area clear of combustible
materials, flammable vapors, and liquids.
REGULAR CLEANING:
• Visually check the general condition of the appliance
and clean it regularly.
• Use a stiff brush to clean the burner head and ensure
it is free from insects, spiders, or other obstructions.
• Use a soft cloth with hot soapy water to clean the
stove body. Do not use aggressive cleaners.
• If necessary, use a wire brush, steel wool, or a scouring
pad to clean the grate (2).
• Keep the igniter and burner head area free from
grease, dirt, and debris to ensure easy lighting.
• Clean the stove frequently to avoid grease build-up.
MAINTENANCE & INSPECTION:
• Check the seals regularly to ensure they are in good
condition. If there are signs of wear or damage, they
must be replaced with new seals. Contact your dealer
or Robens Customer Service (see contact details on
the last page).
• It is recommended to have the appliance serviced
yearly. If the injector becomes blocked, it must only be
replaced by an authorised person.
HOW TO CHECK FOR LEAKS WITH SOAPY WATER:
• Use a soft cloth and wring it out in soapy water.
• Apply a small amount of soapy water to all joints of
gaseous parts.
• If there is a leak, bubbles will appear in the soapy
water.
• If you detect a leak, stop using the appliance
immediately and contact your dealer or Robens
Customer Service (see contact details on the last
page).
STORAGE:
• Ensure the appliance has completely cooled down
before storage.
• Always disconnect the gas cartridge before storing
the appliance.
• Store both the appliance and cartridge in a dry, well-
ventilated place, free from dust and dirt, and away
from direct heat and sunlight.
• Keep cartridge upright, out of reach of children and
ignition sources.
